Pink pleats

Just a quick post today i though i'd show you what i wear when I'm just popping out to do the shopping or running errands on days off. I'm not wearing any make up and my hair is just scraped back into a bun this is how i usually do my hair when I'm not going anywhere special. The tunic was from evans ages ago its lovedrobe and a size 22/24. I can't remember how much it was, but i can remember seeing it and thinking i needed to have it. I love the pleats and the colour i wish it was a little longer as i need to wear it with leggings rather than tights. The material is really soft and loose but the material belt gives it shape, its definitely one to wear to lounge about in.
Marvin decided he wanted
to be in the picture

What sort of thing do you wear to pop out in ?
Its nearly the weekend now i hope you've all had a good week

Out and about with the birdies

On sunday me and the hubby met up with lolly likes fatshion and her mr for a ponder around the shops and something to eat. We went into primark first where my hubby bought himself a dinosaur onsie and me 3 pairs of reading glasses that i plan on having the lenses changed in so they are my prescription. I love them I'm so glad that i found out about a cheap place to get the lenses changed from the lovely lolly.
Here are the glasses all from primark

We also had a look in evans who had got a huge sale on at the minute and my gorgeous hubby bought me a dress. It was less than half price at £30! i love it and can't wait to wear it.
Isn't it beautiful?!

We went to rice for dinner and although the food was nice the service wasn't and we had to wait nearly and hour for what they call "fast" food but the company was great so it could have been worse.
Heres what i wore
I did attempt to take pictures outside
but it was too windy !

The dress is from evans i got it in the 15% off for the jubilee. I bought a size 24 as i usually find it help to size up in sienna couture. The dress isn't on the evans website at the minute but it was still in store when we went in. I paid £33 for it as i got the discount but it was £39 full price. The material is really soft and silky and there is a stretch panel in the back so i could have probably got my usual size.
The shoes are from primark an the headscarf is from matalan.
Ive had a great weekend i hope you all have too.

It's not a dress!

So as the title suggests im not wearing a dress today shock horror! I'm off to see friends who have a lovely but jumpy dog so tights and a dress just aren't practical.
So here it is, the cardigan is my old tesco one the shirt and leggings are both Evans. The leggings are a size 20 and very comfy but a little thin. The shirt is a 22 and I adore it, it's so comfy and fits great plus it's leopard so a complete win for me. Shoes and headscarf are primark.
Hope your all having a great weekend

Purple lace

Just a quick post today about an outfit i wore out to dinner recently. I found this dress in my wardrobe with the tags still on even though i bought it last year. This is bad i know and part of the reason I'm doing my shopping ban.
So the dress is from new look inspire i got my usual size 22, for a looser fit you should size up but i like how this fits on me. The dress was £22.99 and has a under layer in a stretch material with the lace over the top and the sleeves are all lace nothing underneath them. Its very comfy but a little short especially when sat down but i had black tights on so i think it looked ok but i couldn't wear it with bare legs id be flashing !
My hair is in a pony as id been at work and we just came home dropped our things off and went for food, so excuse my less than perfect appearance.
Necklace from asos

Hope your week is going quickly.I had yesterday off work and went to alton tower theme park it was fun but i couldn't go on all the rides as i wasn't small enough :( i wish they would put some bigger seat on all rides like they do with certain ones like the oblivion.
Thanks for reading

One dress Two ways

A few weeks ago now myself and lolly likes fatshion both bought the same dress from asda. It wasn't intentional i tweeted about what i bought then saw that she had bought the same dress too, it just goes to show great minds do think alike! So we decided to show you how we each styled it, check hers out over on her blog.
I wore mine last night out to dinner for a friends birthday we went to chiquitos it was really yummy. It was raining so although the dress is a summer dress i layered it up and was warm enough.
The dress was £12 from asda and i got my usual size 22. The material is a light cotton so perfect to wear on its own in the summer. It also has buttons on the back where the straps attach and two button holes in the strap itself so that you can have a shorter or longer strap which i think is a great idea.

The cardigan is G21 from asda size 20 i got it last year i think. Tights are primark and i don't have them on it the picture but i wore navy ballet flats from primark £5.
The headscarf was from a pack of two from primark £2

The bag i have had since i was 14 and was from H&M i love it and i thought the red went well with the red hearts on the dress.
Close up of the print

The buttons on the strap
So thats how i wore mine i hope you like it now pop over and see how lolly styled her dress.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

Where has the sun gone?!

So a few weeks ago my lovely hubby bought me a parasol. It had been really sunny and i really don't like the sun i swear i can feel it fizzling my skin. I wear sun protection but i have wanted a parasol for a while, i love how they look and what better way to shade yourself from the sun?! So here it is a handmade parasol made from traditional rice paper and bamboo isn't it gorgeous?!

Im sure when the sun comes back out to play i'll be using my parasol. It was from they no longer have this one in stock but they have lots of others take a look. They are great prices and my hubby said the delivery was super quick too.
Does anyone else have a parasol or a hatred of the sun like me ?
Thanks for reading i hope your enjoying your weekend

Shopping ban

So i recently decided to impose a shopping ban on myself. This might sound like a crazy idea but having nearly filled my third wardrobe i realised that i have lots of beautiful clothes yet i keep buying more before with others have been worn. Its not a very long ban i have seen others like dino princess char do a 100days ! Now that i know i would never manage but I've decided to go until the 24th of july. I have put in place one little caveat , and that is plus north, if while I'm there something comes up that is too good to miss out of then i will buy it.But i will not do any other clothes shopping in that time.
So while I'm on a shopping ban I've been torturing myself by browsing online at all the lovely things i would usually add to bag and checkout!
Here are all the lovelies I'm wanting right now
Asos curve
Jersey playsuit £19.50
Aztec playsuit £24.50

Spot print dress £25
