Remember the babycham deer?

I do the first time i ever got drunk it was on babycham at a family new years party, now years later i don't drink it but i still fondly remember that little deer. About two years ago i spotted this little gem in Primark. I think the necklace was £2 and it looks so tacky and amazing and reminded me so much of that little babycham deer i had to have it!

Im also wearing a dress I've had for a few years it was from ruby rocks at Evans. I know some bloggers don't like to show old items but i do plus I'm sure a lot of you like to scour ebay for bargains (i know i do) so you never know when one of these might turn up.  This dress is a size 18 and because of this it's quite short so i wore it with my Tesco leggings rather than tights and my Primark pumps.

Even though this dress is a few years old I'm still very fond of it. It's made from a lovely jersey material its great to wear and so comfy and even though I've had it ages its still kept it's shape, although my shape has changed slightly i think it still looks good.

I wore this to go to a little old fashioned pub for a pie dinner with the mr. Its no secret i love a good pie, it was lovely and i was full to the brim when we left so its a good job i'd gone with stretch material! I would have taken a picture of the pie but it was so good that the eating got the better of me and by the time i remembered it was all gone. I also wore this to the zoo with my thick purple cardigan as it was quite chilly that day and most of the zoo was outside, you can see my zoo post here.
Do you still pull together outfits using pieces that are years old?
XOXO

  3. I have the same Ruby rocks dress - one of my faves 'cause it looks as good with trainers as it does with heels. You look delicious in it!

  6. The dress and necklace are both so cute. Looking good hun!

I wear some of my clothes year after year. I don't see the point in spending so much money on something you love, to never wear it again. It's a waste of money and not realistic, and it's stupid to invest in something you love so much and have to have to refuse to be seen in it twice. I like collecting things I see myself keeping for years. xx

  7. Absolutely, actually when I saw this pic in my Bloglovin' emails, I was like "I don't remember wearing this dress this week" because I own it too! I would never think NOT to wear it just because it's old. Oh and I noticed the new CR@Evans is coming in 2 days...was hoping for the last collection to be heavily discounted, but obviously not!
