Hi
I'm not even sure if anyone even comes to this little online space anymore but I decided not to renew my domain so I'm a few weeks I will be going back to adressisforlife.blogspot.com.
I'm not sure if I will restart this blog at any point but for now it's on the back seat, I don't really spend the money on fashion I used too and feel at the moment it's not a priority.
Just wanted to let you know
Thanks for reading :)

Charlotte Tilbury
Since I've been away I've fallen in love with everything Charlotte Tilbury. Her make up is so beautiful from the packaging to the product itself.
My collection has grown quite a bit but rather than show you everything I wanted to share my recent purchases including the new Hot Lips lipstick which I've been waiting to come out forever.
I did treat myself to 4 of the lipsticks, 2 lip pencils and a eyeliner. Apologies for the pictures a beauty blogger I am not!
Hells Bells
Secret Salma
Bosworth's Beauty
Electric Poppy
Top from left to right, kiss n tell lip liner & bad romance.
Hot lips lipstick from left to right electric poppy, bosworth's beauty, secret salma, hells bells.
The lipsticks are all matt and don't dry your lips out at all I can't recommend them enough.
The lip liners are so soft and took a bit of scrubbing to get off my hand. I tried to go with colours that I already have or are close to these so I can get the most use from them.
The make up is expensive so it's not going to be in everyone's budget but it is something lovely to treat yourself or someone else for a special occasion.
Has anyone else tried Chatlotte Tilbury what did you think?

Hello Stranger
Well it's been quite a while hasn't it?! I dont really have time to update this blog as regularly as I've done in the past so posts will probably continue to be pretty sporadic. Since I've been away I've been spending lots of time with family and nights and days out with friends (those have a habit of ending in a hangover!) I've also got a premement job which I'm super happy about !
I just wanted to share a few outfits with you from nights out as I really loved them and think they are great pieces everyone needs in their wardrobe.
First up is this amazing jumpsuit from Asos curve, unfortunately it's out of stock on the website but it has gone out of stock and returned again before so fingers crossed it does again! This is a size 22 and fits like a glove. It was so easy to wear out and I felt comfortable all night.
The waistband is quite thick so give the jumpsuit a nice shape as the legs are baggier at the top and taper down. I found them a little long but I'm only 5 4" but I just cuffed them and they were fine.
Next up in a super cute swing dress from Simply Be. The hubby bought it for me a few weeks ago when we went shopping and I fell in love. I really like this style of swing dress with the cuffed sleeves and high neck, I have a black velvet one which I adore. This is a size 24 as these are quite short so I find sizing up give a little extra lenght. The only downside to this is the lace overlay material dos get caught on my bag a few times and I can imagine you might have the same issue with jewellery.

You Beauty
The You Beauty box has got a new home and has had a bit of a make over for February, the price is still the same £6.95 including postage and you still get to choose 2 products to try.
Because of the make over this month and re subscribing I got extra samples in my box they were the Eyeko black mascara and Phillip Kingsley elasticiser.
The extra in the box that everyone would get even if they hadn't re subscribed were Vita Liberata overnight face tanning mask and Real Techniques brush cleaning gel.
My first choice was Benecos hand and nail cream. This has a really refreshing orange scent to it, it does hydrate your hands well but does leave a little bit of a greasy film on your palms. I love to try new hand creams and I'm always in search of the perfect one but sadly I don't think this is it.
My second choice was Dr Organic Dead Sea Face Mask. I much prefer my face masks in a tube or pot as you can use as much as you need, I always find that with the sachets I'm throwing a lot away. I have used the Dr Organic snail gel before which is really good so I have high hopes for this.
I was a little worried when I got the email last month to tell me the box was changing that it would mean an increase in price or a change to how you could choose your products but I'm pleased to say this has all been kept the same.XOXO

Birthday Fun
I haven't been feeling great for the past few weeks but I finally have some antibiotics so hopefully I will start feeling better soon! This means that my birthday this year has been a little different as I was a bit too tired for a full day out but it was a fabulous day all the same.
My lovely hubby brought me breakfast in bed while I opened my presents from him. They were really lovely, he got me earings and a necklace that match the ring he got me to replace my wedding ring at Xmas. And this totally amazing phone case!
After breakfast I got ready to go out, it was the first time in 3 weeks that is worn make up and felt presentable. I wore my jeggings from Matalan, a old Evans top, Simply Be boots, New Look leather jacket and I added my faux fur stole over the top. Excuse the mess birthdays are not for cleaning!
We headed off to Cannon Hall farm, I love being around animals and this was the perfect way to spend my birthday morning.
Here are a few pictures from the farm,
As it was quiet at the farm we decided to wander into the kids play area which resulted in me grinning like a big kid and the hubby on the floor!
We picked up some bits from the farm shop including some very fancy chocolates and steaks to have that evening. We also picked up some passion fruit vodka ready for when I can drink again.
The rest of the day was spent watching films, playing Fat Princess and snuggling with the cats and the hubby, perfection!

While I've been away
It's been quite a while since I've done any outfit post but lighting has been rubbish and the batteries in my camera need charging and to be honest charging them slips my mind until I need to use it!
So I'm just going to share some of the outfits I've been wearing.
These will be mirror shots and the background will probably be messy but love me love my mess :)
First up my outfit for my work Xmas party where I ended up dancing with my friend on the empty dancefloor about 20 minutes after arriving and finishing the night very drunk! I have to say this dress is beautiful but it is not made to dance the back of my legs were torn to shreds after hours of dancing. Dress was from simply be about a year ago.
Next up was an outfit I wore to my friends local pub where we intended to go for a few quiet drinks but it turned into a night on the tiles!
The jeans are Claire Richards for fashion world and the crop top and jacket are from Matalan last year.
Next was a playsuit I bought in the Simply Be sale just before Xmas and I wore it for a night out. Unfortunately the lace overlay has bubbled and in places gone like cotton wool! So I wouldn't recommend this if you like to dance around or have a bag that would rub against the fabric.
Below is a little Instagram collage I did when me and the Mr went out for his birthday/our anniversary. The top and skirt are both Simply Be about 6 months ago and the necklace was ASOS years ago.
Look how cute we look!
And lastly here is what I wore today, the dress is about 2 years old from Simply Be and the boots I got this week from the Simply Be sale, they are fabulous! These are the extra curvy plus and a little tight when I zip them up but the feel fine when they are on.

Dolly and Dotty
Its been a while since I've updated on here, with work being busy and the horrible weather its been really hard to get outfit pictures!
I was contacted recently by the lovely guys over at Dolly and Dotty who asked if i wanted to review one of their lovely dresses. They have dresses in a size 6-24 with lots of colours and styles to choose from. I went with the Cindy Sassy Swing dress in teal.

I was sent this in a size 22 which was a little big but i think it might have been a little tight if I'd have sized down. However if you have a smaller bust then i would say you could size down in this style. I love the colour of of this dress its a beautiful deep blue/green and it looks amazing on.
I really love the boat neck and the dipped back of the dress which adds a really cute touch to this dress. It came with a white fabric belt but i changed this for my leopard print one and i really love how looks. This dress has a great skirt area and would look great with a petticoat underneath to give it some extra volume.
Dolly and Dotty was a company i hadn't heard of before the got in contact but would be my go to place for a cute vintage style dress and they have really affordable prices too. Go check them out if like me you haven't heard of this great company before.
I hope your all having a great December!

Beauty Haul
Superdrug and Boots have had a 3for2 offer on make up recently so i went a bit wild last weekend and got myself a few goodies!
As always the majority of my haul was lipstick because lets face you can't have enough can you ??
From Superdrug i got 2 of their own brand face masks as i find them really good and i prefer them in tubes rather than sachets so that i can just use what i need, i always seem to throw loads away when i get the sachets.

I also picked up a Barry M liner, some mascara and my favourite product ever Loreal studio secrets base, i hardly ever use anything on my face but when i go out i i use this on my face and its all i ever need.
I picked up 3 lipsticks One of a kind and Under my spell from Rimmel and Rose royale from Loreal
From Boots i picked up the Revlon prime and anti-shine to try as an alternative to my studio secrets base, and 2 of the matte balms. I love these balms as they don't dry your lips but have a really good matte finish. I got these in striking spectacular which is a lovely coral colour and passionate a really nice purple pink.
I also got a few Revlon lipsticks to try, they are Black cherry, Va va violet and Berry couture. I loved the colours the first to look very similar in these picture but they are noticeably different in real life.
While i was out i also popped into Asda and picked up this lovely stag print shirt.

Driving Miss Daisy
Hey everyone its been a while hasn't it ?! Well while I've been away I've passed my driving test on my first attempt i couldn't believe it!
I started learning in late June and passed on the 30th September with only 4 minors, i was super nervous on the day and couldn't stop my leg shaking but i did it. I'm now really learning to drive and trying to get my confidence up on the motorway and roads i don't know. Its so much easier to get to work now that i don't have to try to wait for the hubby or arrive hours before my shift due to busses.

Junarose Stripes
I had a bit of a shopping spree recently and found myself on the Simply Be website they had a really good sale on and i had a discount code to use too so i wanted to try something new. I spotted this striped dress which isn't something i would usually wear as there isn't really any shape to it and i don't usually wear stripes, not because it don't like them i just always get drawn it by brighter bolder prints.
This dress is down to £13 in the sale which is a total bargain. I love this dress so much its so different to what i wear usually but i love that. I went with a size L which is a 18/20 as it advised online to size down but i think if you want an over sized look you should go for your usual size.
This dress does have a lot of stretch but is made from a thickish material so its really comfortable to wear and i think it will keep its shape too. I love the cuffs on the dress they can be folded over to show the denim inside which i think is a really cute detail.
I wore this last week to pop to Meadowhall and pick up a few bits i needed from Primark, i added my leopard print trainers and this cute hair bobble i found while i was cleaning a few weeks ago and i was good to go!
I got quite a few more bits from the Simply Be sale so i will be showing these soon.

You Beauty
I never got around to reviewing my last You Beauty box so its nearly time for next months! I wasn't wowed by last months selections here is what i got,
My first selection was the Stilla eyeliner this is supposed to be full sized however the pencil doesn't twist so in actual fact i only have about 3mm of liner i can use! I don't know if its a faulty product but with a RRP of £14 i expect better quality. This is not something i would buy again.

My second selection was Philosophy 3in1 cleanser again I'm not overly impressed with this. It claims to be fragrance free but i think it has a really strong smell and i wouldn't feel comfortable using this on my eyes like it recommends. I used this on my face but made sure i kept it away from my eyes, it did work on my face but i didn't find it better than another other cleaner i have used.
My free samples this month were the first chapter of The Mortal Instruments and a sachet of Sienna X gradual tan. I haven't read the book as its not really my thing and the sachet of tan isn't big enough for me to do my whole body and i don't want to be different shades!
I'm hoping that Septembers box will bring a much better selection.
XOXO
