Fat Swap

Saturday was my second time at a fat swap and it was great, i love the idea that you take things you no longer wear and that are too big/small and in exchange you get new clothes ! Its fantastic and i would like to say a massive thank you to Rebecca and Lolly for organising the day i had a great time.
As always it was lovely to meet new people and to talk more to some of the girls i met last time. I am going to do a separate outfit post for what i wore on the day but i thought id show you what i came away with. I took 2 big bags of things to swap including a coat i had forgotten to take to the swap last time.
I really like to see people take my stuff and try it on and then take in onto its new home, it makes me happy.
I got so much from the swap each time i had another wander around more stuff had been added and then more got put into my bag to take home!

Some lovely dresses

Close up on the print

2 more lovely dresses, belts, headscarf and polkadot scarf

Some super cute earings Lolly brought
I love everything that i got but these 2 dress are the apple of my eye, the black and red one Mel brought and the green one was brought by Rebecca's lovely mum who made the dress many years ago. They are both perfect.

While we were at the swap we got vouchers to use in the tea room at Birds Yard and in Chloe's shop Life's Big Canvas where i bought myself a very cute brooch and said hello to the lovely Chloe, if your ever in Leeds you have to go to her shop its amazing!

I also bought myself 2 of Bettie's zines which i read today and loved!

Here are a few pictures from the day which were taken by the lovely Rebecca if you want to see them all pop over to her blog she also has a separate website for her photography business here.

Then we finished the day off perfectly with dinner, Rebecca managed to get a snap of us all at the table as you can see there was quite a few of us!

I had a great day and got some amazing bits, if you spot anything here that you brought with you shout up so I can say a big thank you :)
Did you go to the swap ? what did you come away with ?
XOXO
