Scuba Crop

I had seen this top online a few times but i had never gotten around to buying it. Then a few weeks ago i got an email from Fashion World with a 20% off code and free delivery too so i decided I'd take a look at what they had, as i already had my eye on a pair of shorts. I decided to check to the sale section and came across this top for a total bargain price of £4! I couldn't resist so i quickly added it to my basket.

This is advertised as a crop top but i think its far too long to be considered a crop top. The size 22 fit me like a standard length top, i didn't mind this at all as i bought it mainly for the print and not because it was a crop top.

I wore this top with my Primark tube skirt which you have seen a million times already. I thought the bright pink went well with the grey floral and really made it stand out. The scuba material is quite thick and feels really soft, and it has quite a bit of stretch to it too. Even though it is stretchy i think you can keep with your usual size unless you want a really fitted top.

This is actually the first thing I've bought in this material and i really love it! The only negative i have about this top is that it did have a really odd smell to it, I'm not sue if this has something to do with the scuba material or how it has been stored but this is nothing that a quick wash won't solve.

I really love this top and I'm sure that i will get plenty of wear from it. The thickness of the material is going to make it perfect for the winter. Have you got an sale bargain recently?

Playfully Yours

I posted last month about mine and Lisa's shopping trip and how I'd developed a bit of a soft spot for a playsuit in Yours. I really liked it but i didn't buy it as i knew there was a few discount codes knocking around online and i wanted to save a few pounds.

How cute ?!! I really love how this playsuit fits the shape looks great and it feels like it was made for me. This is another purchase that will be making its way to Blackpool with me. The material is quite a thick crepe type material which makes i really comfy to wear and seems to move with your body. 

The shorts are mid thigh and a lovely loose style, a lot of the playsuits i have feel can feel tight around the hips/bum when sitting down but this isn't like that. I also really love the print of this playsuit it's fun and bright and i couldn't think of a better playsuit to take with me.

As you can see from the back there is an exposed zip and then a button fastening at the top. I found this really easy to do up myself especially as the zip only goes halfway up. Trust me as a girl who has gone out many a time in a playsuit there is nothing more annoying than not being able to do up it up and having to ask a stranger in the toilet to do it.

Bones and Bellies

This is an outfit that i bought from New Look Inspire a few week ago when i went in for a browse with the Mr. I picked the 2 pieces up not thinking that i would wear them together but when i went into the changing room and put them on i loved them together.

The skirt was in the sale for £7 and was the only one left, when i picked it up and saw it was a 22 i decided it was fate and i had to try it on. When i was younger i had a skirt similar to this but in a pale blue denim and i swear i lived in it for about a year. 

The size 20 in this skirt might have been better to give a more fitted look but for £7 i couldn't say no to this one. This is no longer available online but there might still be one or two left in the sale in store if your lucky.

The top was full price but still only £12.99 i was drawn to the print and didn't realise till i tried it on that its a boxy crop shape so it does show a few flashes of tummy which i like. The top is a size 24 which i need to fit my boobs into. I think if you get your usual size then you will get more of a cropped look. This top is still available online here if you want one too.

Finally to finish the outfit off i popped my hair up in a top knot and added my bone hair clip which i got from ebay for £1.31 for 3 what a bargain! I have wanted a bone clip for ages and after seeing how cheap these where i finally got some.

Dancing Partners

A few weeks ago i went out with my favourite lady Lisa to celebrate my birthday. We met up for food and then spent the evening having a few cheeky drinks and doing a lot of dancing. I didn't get any pictures of my outfit before i went out that day as i had a few issues with tights and hair and false eyelashes which meant i was running around like crazy and getting a little stressed that i would be late.

I re created the outfit so you could see what i wore

I really did not dress for the weather is was pretty cold and really windy then half way through the night it started to rain and i don't think it stopped. My feet ended up getting so wet my shoes were leaving wet footprints on the dance floor but it didn't stop me and Lisa having a great time.

I wore my Tesco leopard jacket which you have seen a few times now, my much loved New Look inspire denim shorts and a cute floral tshirt which i got last summer from New Look inspire but never wore. I think i paid about £15 for it and got it in a size 24. I thought the floral and leopard print went really well together and i loved how this outfit looked even when it was wet through!

I am looking forward to re creating this outfit in the summer without the tights and hopefully without getting caught out in the rain again.

Forgotten Floral

While looking through my wardrobe i discovered a few dresses that i have had for several months that have never been worn! They still have the tags on which is pretty bad as I've had them for so long. I decided to show you the first one today, which i got from Simply Be store opening in Manchester many months ago. I have no idea why I've not worn it, it just seems to get bypassed when I'm browsing my wardrobes.

This dress is a size 24, i had to size up to get it to fit comfortably over my boobs, but it is a little big at the waist but nothing that a belt won't fix :)

This dress is made from a sheer material with a slip underneath the main body of the dress but leaving the sleeves sheer which i love. This dress is really gorgeous and i love the vintage looking floral print. I think this dress would look fabulous with a pair of brown boots and now that i can get extra curvy plus from Simply Be i might have to invest in a pair.

This dress is below the knee on me and now that i have re discovered it i think it will get a fair bit of wear over the winter months as it will be so easy to layer up. This dress did come with a belt but i couldn't find it so i added this brown one that i got from a previous fat swap. 

I always feel so bad when i find clothes that have never seen the light of day. I need a wardrobe that  rotates all my clothes around and that brings the less worn pieces to the front!

Pretty As A Daisy

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago but for some reason hadn't uploaded the images from my camera silly Rachel!
I wore this to go and visit my mum i like to wear things that are comfy for the car journey. I got this dress quite a while ago but i only just got round to wearing it.

I got this dress from New look and i sized up to a 26, the 22 fit but it was a little too short for my liking they didn't have a 24 but they had the 26 so i tried it and to be honest i found the fit the same as the 22 but it was longer which i wanted.

I wore the dress with some tights as it was a little chilly out and some Primark flats which are really uncomfortable to wear so i will be taking them to the next fat swap and hopefully someone else will get on better with them.

I checked the New Look website but i can't find the dress anymore if i remember right i bought it for £19.99. The dress does have a really cute pattern which was the reason i picked it up to start with and I'm sure it will get lots more wear over the summer months.

The only negative thing i have to say about this dress is the neckline seems to sit a bit squiff I'm not sure if its just this dress or its a problem with the material and how it has been sewn into the lining. It won't stop me wearing it as it such a cute dress and really light and floaty so will keep me cool in the summer.

Floral Midi

As you may have seen from my post on Monday i popped into Tesco at the weekend and I'm sure its not a surprise that i left a dress or two. I bought the maxi you saw on Monday and while i was leaving the clothing section i spotted a dress I'd tried on a few weeks ago but not bought. I picked up my size and checked the tag and it was down to £7 in the sale which made it less that half price!

This will be my first ever midi dress, i really love them but with being quite short i often find that they end up being far too long but this one is perfect.

I got this dress is a 22 and it fits true to size, it is made from a jersey material which is quite thin so will be nice for the summer. The dress was £16 full price but i got it in the sale for £7 which is a great bargain.

I wore this dress with my new tights which were also from Tesco in a XL (£4 for a pack of 3) and my  Irregular Choice kitten heels. The dress is really comfy to wear and i love the 3/4 sleeves. I couldn't find it online but they had lots in my local store so its worth having a look.

A Teatime Treat

On Saturday me and the Mr went out for dinner with friends it was great fun an nice to meet up with everyone again and go course have yummy food. Once the meal was over we headed home but i couldn't resist the urge to pop into Tesco and have a little look in the clothes section.
I spotted this gorgeous maxi dress and after trying it on i knew i had to have it.

The print is really pretty and its a lovely light silky material which will be great for summer. It was a bargain price for £16 and is available online here.

The dress does come with a material tie belt but i took this off as i preferred it without, there is an elasticated bit just under your boobs away to give the dress shape too. I got the standard length dress but online they also have it in tall and petite which is great. I went for my usual size 22 which is a great fit with a little extra space.

Tesco have lots of lovely maxi dresses in at the moment especially in the True range which covers sizes  16-28. This one is my favourite 

I love maxi's and i doubt this will the the last one that i add to my wardrobe!

Sheer Floral

I went to visit my mum this weekend and needed to pick an outfit, i was having one of those days where you can see the clothes you have but can't image an outfit put together. I remembered i had this shirt which i bought with some birthday money last month.

The shirt was from Yours i am lucky enough to have a store close by so i can pop in to try things on before deciding if i want to buy them. This shirt drew my eye straight away the bright colours and the little hint of lace at the back. 

The shirt is from the Limited collection at Yours and is available online here, it was £28 and i decided after trying on a few sizes to go with the 24. I actually bought this shirt to wear tucked into my short shorts because it looks amazing with them! But today i wanted to be comfy and relaxed so i went with my trusty Tesco leggings.

I love the open back and hint of lace i think it added and extra touch to the shirt. It hasn't showed up in the pictures but the shirt is sheer but i think because of the floral pattern it doesn't seem quite so see through.

Now obviously it pretty cold out so i did add my super comfy snugly cardigan over the top so i didn't freeze.

I felt comfy in this outfit and that what i wanted for the day but I'll definitely be pairing the shirt tucked into my shorts in future as i think that looks so much better.

Mums Birthday

It was my Mums birthday recently so me and the hubby went over for a visit and to take her her presents. For her birthday i decided to do something a little different and make her up a gift hamper, i added some home made cookies and all the sweets and treats we used to enjoy together when i was younger.We had a lovely day and finished it off with a yummy chinese :)
Here's what i wore on the day

This dress is one that i picked up from the fat swap from the lovely Becky, i really love it. I believe it was original from asda and is a size 22, the fit for me is perfect! 

The dress has a thick elasticated waist and is made from a lovely thin cotton, its sleeveless so perfect for the summer time.

I love the print on this dress, i really like floral print and think the black background makes this print stand out really nicely.

I wore this with Primark tights and my Tesco cardigan, i added a handmade brooch and my new headband which was a gift from the lovely Lisa.

I thought i would share what my lovely hubby wore on the day, as the lady in paperchase commented, you can't go wrong with Micky.

A Casual Bargain

I was  browsing the Very website one morning when i spotted a lovely summery jumpsuit for the bargain price of £5.32 ! I quickly added it to my basket and it was delivered a few days later.
Its just as summery and cute in real life i love it.

When i ordered it i thought it looked like a polkadot print but i was pleasantly surprised when i opened the package and it was actually these tiny flowers.

I decided to show you the jumpsuit as i would wear it in the summer with my hair up and my face make-up free.

It seems all the cool kids have a top knot in these days so i wore one especially for you ;)

I ordered this jumpsuit in a 24 as its cotton and i knew it wouldn't have any stretch. I'm really happy with the fit of the top of the jumpsuit but the bottom half is a little on the small side. As I'm sure I've mentioned before i have really large calves so straight leg trousers can be a pain, these are quite tight on my calves but still fit and with it being cotton its very soft so not unbearable.

I love jumpsuits and playsuits as you know and this is a great addition to my collection, i can live with the tighter legs because for £5.32 i got an amazing cute jumpsuit perfect for the warmer weather. Unfortunately the jumpsuit had sold out now on very but there are still plenty of others on there if you want to get your summer wardrobe ready.

Here is my take on floral.

I had planned to wear something different for the floral theme but i wore this dress to work one day and decided it would be perfect.

This dress was an eBay bargain at £4.99 ! It was originally from Asda and is a size 24. When i saw it on eBay i knew i had to have it, i developed a bit of a maxi dress obsession last year and this was the perfect addition to my collection.

I wore the dress with my Tesco cardigan and some Primark flats which you can't see. I really love this dress its super comfy and i love how bright and colourful it is and i think its perfect fro the floral theme.
