Charnos XeLence

I was recently sent some amazing tights to review by Charnos. They were super kind and sent me the 15 denier black and beige as well as some beautiful spot print ones and a 50 denier pair too!

P2016318

The tights have been specially designed and made for larger dress sizes. They cover sizes 16-32 an I can honestly say they are true to size which most of you will know is hard to find when it comes to tights.

The band on the top of the tights is really soft and it doesn't roll over and become uncomfortable like I have found with other tights. The cherry on the top on these amazing tights is the thigh area. They use a higher denier yarn here to help reduce chafing and make the tights last longer. I have had a fair few pairs over the years wear so thin in this area so I think it's great that Charnos took the time to think about this in their design.

These tights have great stretch I'm wearing the 22-26 and there is loads of room in there!
At the moment the range only goes up to 50 denier but I would love to see these in a 80 or 100 denier which would be perfect for the cold weather we are having at the minute.

There are a few places online you can get your hands on these including UK tights who seem to have to full range available. These are fabulous tights and i love them!

XeLence

I was contacted recently and asked if i wanted to review Charnos XeLence tights. They are specially designed to fit up to a size 32 and have a specially designed panel on the thigh area to stop chafing which i always a good thing!

I'm not going to lie i was a little sceptical but I'm always looking for new tights that fit well and are comfortable. I was sent the tights in medium shape which is sizes 22-26 and do you know what? They are a dream, true to size and super soft. They are seriously great tights!

PC085140

I usually have to size up in tights and then sometimes even the 28-32 don't fit, there is nothing worse than putting tights on only for them to stop at your knees, or they rip as you try to put them on. This has happened to me on more occasions than i can count which leaves me annoyed and out of pocket.

PC085139

Both the black and nude tights are 15 denier so they are really light and you don't feel like you are wearing anything. The panels over the thighs are slightly thicker and make them really comfortable to wear.

The tights have a really soft waist band and it doesn't dig into your skin like other tights that I've had before. The nude tights are a good match for my skin, i was worried they might end up being an overly tanned colour but they are really great .

PC085112

These tights are £7 and for the quality and fit they are so worth it! The have 3 size ranges available:
Light shape - 16-20
Medium shape 22-26
Full shape 28-32
These are true to size i usually wear a 22/24 on the bottom and these tights fit me and would easily fit me at a size or two bigger. There are other styles available in the range including 50 denier, spot print and knee highs!
The range will be released soon and i for one can't wait to get my hands on some of the other styles especially the spot ones which are super cute and i might even give some knee highs a go!
Thanks to Charnos for sending me the tights to review its always great to find a product that actually does what it says on the tin!

Floral Midi

As you may have seen from my post on Monday i popped into Tesco at the weekend and I'm sure its not a surprise that i left a dress or two. I bought the maxi you saw on Monday and while i was leaving the clothing section i spotted a dress I'd tried on a few weeks ago but not bought. I picked up my size and checked the tag and it was down to £7 in the sale which made it less that half price!

This will be my first ever midi dress, i really love them but with being quite short i often find that they end up being far too long but this one is perfect.

I got this dress is a 22 and it fits true to size, it is made from a jersey material which is quite thin so will be nice for the summer. The dress was £16 full price but i got it in the sale for £7 which is a great bargain.

I wore this dress with my new tights which were also from Tesco in a XL (£4 for a pack of 3) and my  Irregular Choice kitten heels. The dress is really comfy to wear and i love the 3/4 sleeves. I couldn't find it online but they had lots in my local store so its worth having a look.

What do you think to my sale bargain?

Day 10 - Cute tights

Hope your all ok and are enjoying a short week at work ( or a week that is going quickly for those of you that haven't had a bank holiday). So todays post is tights, now i have a lot of tights, two giant bags and a box full of them but my favourites are coloured tights. So i decided to pull out these out for cute tights day. I call them my smurf legs they are so blue.
I wore them with the black pepper pan dress from asks curve last year. I'm sure you have seen it on many fabulous plus size bloggers. I wear mine to work a lot because its so comfy, never creases and keeps me at a nice temperature in the office. I got this dress in a 20 as a was a little smaller them but it still has lots of room in now I'm a 22 so you can defiantly afford to size down should you come across it on ebay.
I also realised i post a lot of pictures without any shoes on, silly me! I wore my favourite Irregular Choice shoes with this i bought them last year from schuh for £60 and they were worth every penny.

A little black work dress

This is the second dress I got from simply be, I expected it to be more rigid but it is quite stretchy. Again I think I could have gone for a smaller size if they hadnt had mine on stock. It is sort of a thick jersey material so it won't crease, which is good because I don't iron! I decided to wear it with some colourful tights to make the outfit stand out a bit. The tights are from marks and spencers, they are quite small on the first wear but stretch out to your shape and become like a second skin. They are really comfy and I like how they can add a pop of colour to an outfit.
This dress doesn't photograph too well especially as im using my iphone, but trust me its gorgeous and definitely worth adding to your wardrobe if it's lacking a little black dress. I paired it with a red leopard print cardigan i got from torrid when i was in florida on holiday, not because i needed a cardigan but because i have to have my shoulders covered for work (crazy rule i know!) I thought I'd include a goofy picture too. How do you feel about colourful legs do you have any coloured tights?
