Outfit Favourites from 2014

I wanted to share with you my favourite outfits from 2014 so here they are in no particular order,
I wore this outfit at Leeds Pride and i loved everything about it, the clashing prints and of course the shorts!

This was a dress i wore for Lisa's birthday in Blackpool i spent the night dancing away in it and loved every minute.

This was a cheap and cheerful outfit that made me feel amazing. I love the boxy cut of the top with the tube skirt.

I remember the day i found these on Fashion World i was the happiest girl alive. Plus size dungarees! need i say more.

This picture is actually making me miss the purple hair a little. I wore this outfit a lots last year including a very cold wet night out with Lisa.

Because its true i do love them! Also these Claire Richards jeans are the most amazing jeans I've ever worn.

This is a bit of a blurry one but i loved this dress so much i had to include it.

Having never been a fan of swing style i remember trying this on in Simply Be and falling in love, it was the perfect addition to summer.

This is the underwear i modelled at Plus North, i had a great day and met some amazing people and this was my favourite outfit of Plus North.

This was one of those outfits i just threw together but ending up really loving. The dress was so beautiful and this denim jacket is perfection.

So those were my ten favourite outfits from 2014 they all have amazing memories attached. So here's to another year!

PVC Pinkie

Today i have another sale bargain from Fashion World to share with you. This skirt is another one of those items that i had been looking at for some time but wasn't sure how it would look on me, but as it was down to £13.50 in the sale i decided to give it a go.

This skirt is a bit of a marmite item with people some love it, others just aren't keen but that never stops me i will always wear what i want. Anyway i love it ! This is made from super soft pvc which is lined so it doesn't stick to your legs and makes it more comfortable to wear.

I had seen a few reviews of this skirt before i bought it which advised to size up but i decided i would try my usual size 22 first. This was a good idea as the fit is perfect on me. The skirt has an elasticated waist which makes it super easy to get on and comfortable to wear too. This is another piece that i think will be good for the winter months, as i soon warmed up when i had put it on. I don't think i would have been able to wear it in the summer without getting uncomfortably warm.

I wore this with my oversized heart print shirt from Asda but although i like how it looks the shirt has shrunk in the wash so it was a little too short to tuck in properly. I have so many outfit planned with this skirt and i can't wait to wear them!

Scuba Crop

I had seen this top online a few times but i had never gotten around to buying it. Then a few weeks ago i got an email from Fashion World with a 20% off code and free delivery too so i decided I'd take a look at what they had, as i already had my eye on a pair of shorts. I decided to check to the sale section and came across this top for a total bargain price of £4! I couldn't resist so i quickly added it to my basket.

This is advertised as a crop top but i think its far too long to be considered a crop top. The size 22 fit me like a standard length top, i didn't mind this at all as i bought it mainly for the print and not because it was a crop top.

I wore this top with my Primark tube skirt which you have seen a million times already. I thought the bright pink went well with the grey floral and really made it stand out. The scuba material is quite thick and feels really soft, and it has quite a bit of stretch to it too. Even though it is stretchy i think you can keep with your usual size unless you want a really fitted top.

This is actually the first thing I've bought in this material and i really love it! The only negative i have about this top is that it did have a really odd smell to it, I'm not sue if this has something to do with the scuba material or how it has been stored but this is nothing that a quick wash won't solve.

I really love this top and I'm sure that i will get plenty of wear from it. The thickness of the material is going to make it perfect for the winter. Have you got an sale bargain recently?

Sale Steal

I have had this dress for a few weeks now, i bought it in the sale from Fashion World for a bargain price of £13 as i had a discount code too. I had been eyeing up this dress for months but wasn't sure if id get the wear out of it at full price. Then me and Lisa decided to go to Blackpool for her birthday and i decided to take the plunge.

I got the dress in a size 22 my usual size as i wasn't sure what the fit of a cami dress would be like. When it came i fell in love with the print and feel of the dress but the shape wasn't doing it for me so i decided to add a black belt and then i fell in love.

This dress is really lovely it has a silky satin feel to it but because of this the material doesn't have any stretch to it. It also as two gold chain straps which you can just about see over my bra strap, i'd love to wear this without my bra straps showing but I'm yet to find a strapless bra that actually fits well and that i can keep on all day.

The dress without a belt comes to about my knee but once i added the belt the dress is more mid thigh   which is fine by me. The only downside to this dress is the armpit room, the sides on this dress come down to almost my bra line. I really wish that when people designed clothes for a larger body they stopped making the armpit holes huge! yes we do have bigger arms but trust me we dont need all that armpit gape.

Overall i love this dress and i think it will be perfect to dance the night away in Blackpool! If you fancy getting this dress for yourself it's available online here and it's still in the sale too.

Fast Food Tee

I mentioned in my post on Sunday that i got the most amazing tshirt ever from Primark. I love fast food so this couldn't have been more perfect for me.

I got the tshirt in a 20 and it fits well with a little room, it's quite thin so I'm not sure how well it will wash but it was only £5 so i can't complain too much.

The print of the tshirt is only on the front the back is plain white. I'm sure i will get a few looks with this tshirt on especially as a fat girl but i don't care I'll be the one rocking pizza, cheeseburger and hotdogs!

I wore this with my Claire Richards jeans which i seriously love, they are so comfy and i have worn them countless times since i got them. The are really comfy and amazing fitting so if you struggle to find jeans that fit then i would definitely recommend these!

I also spotted ice cream prints and sweet prints in Primark too if you're sweet than savoury and at £5 they are quite a bargain.

My Little Pony

I picked up this jumper a few weeks ago in Primark and fell in love. I love My Little Pony so after seeing this jumper i knew it had to be mine. I wore it last week for work with my trusty Claire Richards jeans and everyone seems to love My Little Pony and kept asking me if they could colour in the rest of the jumper.

I got the jumper in a size 20 and it fits me but there isn't much extra room so I'm not sure it would work on much larger bodies but its always worth a try if you spot one in your local Primark. 

The jumper is quite thin so it will work for the spring too and for only £10 you can't go wrong. I have lots of MLP brooches so I'm thinking of adding one of those the next time i wear it.

I have seen online that there are lots of different MLP pieces in Primark but this was the only one i could find in my local one. Have you got any of the pieces?

Squeals of Excitement

A week or so ago i was casually browsing my usual online shopping sites when i spotted something on the Fashion World site that made me do several squeals on excitement and flap my arms about like i was trying to take off. It was a perfect pair of short dungarees, you might know that i have been searching for a pair of these in my size for ages!
I added them to my basket along with another pair of shorts which won't come for a week or so and waited with baited breath till they came.

As you can see they came and i love them!! I ordered a size 22 and they fit really well, if anything i would say they are on the generous side. They are quite light weight so they will be perfect for summer, although you know me i wear shorts no matter what the weather.

I wore these on Saturday to go shopping with Lisa and they were super comfy, you can alter the straps so that you get the perfect fit and the bottom has 2 buttons which i didn't need to use as i could slip the dungarees on without undoing them.

They also have plenty of pockets which makes me a happy lady. I decided to wear them with my glasses tshirt as i haven't worn it in a while and i do love the print. I think everyone should have a pair of these they are fabulous, they made me feel great and were so easy to wear.

I must say that Fashion World have an amazing selection of shorts at the minute i almost feel like they are designing just for me as I'm loving every pair!

Howdy Cowgirl

Here is a outfit that i wore for dress down at work the other week, i wanted something comfy and easy to wear so i decided to go with a shirt i have had for ages but never worn.

The shirt was from Evans last summer but i never got around to wearing it. It's a size 24 and fits over the bust but it is a little big everywhere else. I would like it to be more fitted but i guess i could tuck it into my jeans to give it a more fitted look in the future. 

The shirt has long sleeves but also has a button half way up the sleeves so you can roll them up and wear them like i have here. This shirt was really comfy to wear so although this isn't one of my favourite outfits ever it was good for a day at work.

The jeans are my trusty Claire Richards ones from Fashion World which you have seen quite a number of times since i first got them. So this might not be the most fashion forward outfit but for a busy day at work it was perfect. I'm hoping to try to wear the shirt with other items and in different ways to see if i can find one that i really love.

I was asked several times when was wearing this if i was going to a hoe down so here is a picture of me doing some silly pose, i think i was attempting to line dance at the time!

I haven't been feeling great over the last few days so there isn't an outfit post today but i thought i would show you what i have been lusting after.

Right now I'm a bit in love with jeans an i love these spot print ones!

This dress is so cute and perfect for the summer i could really see Lisa rocking this too.

I really love sequins and i think this sequin vest would be great on summer nights out dancing.

New Look Inspire

I love the ditsy print of these shorts and they are a bargain at £14.99.

I could really use some basic tops and i really like these boob tubes but first i need to find a good strapless bra!

I have seen this Claire Richards dress on several bloggers and they all look amazing its such a great dress.

Having a giant soft spot for animal print i do love this biker style jacket.

Yes another pair of shorts i know, i definitely have a shorts obsession!

Casual and Cosy

Today i thought i would share with you my outfit from work last Saturday. I hate dragging myself out of bed early on a Saturday morning but if i have to i want to be cosy and comfy for the day. So this is what i wore last week when it was still really rainy and windy.

I'm pretty sure you will all have worked out now how much i love these Claire Richards jeans by the amount of times you have seen them over the last few weeks! These jeans have been the most amazing addition to my wardrobe and i have actually ordered another pair of jeans in a damson colour so I'll let you all know how i get on with those.

I decided to wear my Simply Be Ax Paris jumper which i got in January for the bargain price of £10 in the White Rose store. I am wearing a size 24/26 and the fit on me is great but it is definitely small fitting, i had picked up the 24/26 as i wanted it to be a little over sized which it isn't but i still love it anyway.

This jumper is one of the softest that i own, i adore eyelash knits but this is my favourite. I wore it all day and it hardly lost any off its fluffiness and kept its shape. I have another eyelash knit from another company which unfortunately from the beginning didn't keep its shape and now after several wears it  is considerably longer at the back than the front. But I'm pleased to say there is no sign of that happening with this.

Look at all that fluffy!! I really love this jumper and will be wearing it more over the cooler months maybe even with shorts which i think might look cute. If you want to get your hands on this jumper they may still have some in store or you can get it online here.
