Modelling at Plus North

A few weeks ago  i was at Plus North an annual event and i got to model for Simply Be, like last year i had a blast! I'm afraid to say i was a bad blogger and forgot to take any pictures as i was busy chatting with lots of lovely people and browsing the stalls full of beautiful pieces.
Lisa did manage to snap a few pictures on my phone so i will share those and i was lucky enough to be able to keep the pieces i modelled so that i can show them to you today.

There are lots of post about Plus North if you want to read more about the day and if you search #plusnorth on instagram you will find so many amazing pictures. Also Katy has done a vlog of her time at Plus North so take a look here, she also managed to get most of the catwalk shows filmed too, it was great to see everyone modelling as i had missed one of the catwalks.
So first up i modelled this beautiful playsuit in a size 22. The fit is great and as it's made from a soft jersey material it's so comfy. This playsuit has a beautiful lace detail over the top and shoulders, and the cut out at the front which turns what could have been quite a plain playsuit into something special.
I will definitely be getting lots of wear from this, i think its a really easy piece to dress up and down.

I was also sent a leopard print underwear set to model, which had me super excited. I was sent this gorgeous bra and these knickers that hug your bum in the most amazing way! I was sent the knickers in a 22 which fit really well and are comfy too. The bra was a size 42F and although i thought it would be far to small when i first saw it it actually fit me really well and didn't feel tight or uncomfortable at all.

Sorry for the lack of pictures during the event but as i say i was having far too much fun! I hope you are all having a great weekend.

Birthday Girl in Blackpool

A few weekends ago me and Lisa went to Blackpool to celebrate her birthday. We had a lot of fun and many a drink was had! We set off Friday morning like excited kids in the car, i saw the sea first so i totally won that game ( although I'm sure i was the only one playing)
I didn't take that many pictures that weren't selfies or mirror shots but i thought i would share my few pictures with you. If you already follow me on instagram you have probably already seen them.

We had to have fish and chips when we arrived

Family photo, Lisa,Me and The Mr

The Mr by the sea
The Mr had very kindly driven me and Lisa down to Blackpool so we repaid him in fish and chips and warm doughnuts on the way home, he really is the best !
Here was my travelling outfit which is an old Asos curve dress that i just love!

After unpacking we went for a walk around Blackpool and down the pier and of course we stopped for an ice cream! When we got to the end of the pier we spotted several older couples ballroom dancing they looked so sweet and it reminded me of when i used to go with my nan and grandad.
Before we knew it it was time to get ready to party. I wore my new Simply Be cami dress, i really loved it but it was a little weird to be going out in a dress as I'm so used to shorts!

Not sure what i was doing here, but we clearly
party in style check to the hello
kitty cups!

We had such a good night out and i really had a great time, we danced the night away until our feet gave in and we headed back to the hotel. The next morning i was feeling very delicate and took myself down for breakfast at about 7am, never one to shy away from a selfie here i am hungover and hungry!

The next day it did rain unfortunately but it stopped long enough for us to go out and have a look around the shops, buy sticks of rock and snow globes for Lisa. I decided to go for comfit and wore my Yours playsuit.

On Saturday night we headed back out this time i was in my trusty shots and a Simply Be top that i had been lusting over for weeks before it went in the sale a few weeks ago.

Look how cute Lisa looks in the birthday dress

I had the best time ever with my favourite dancing partner, now to decide what town we need to explore next year for my birthday!

Playfully Yours

I posted last month about mine and Lisa's shopping trip and how I'd developed a bit of a soft spot for a playsuit in Yours. I really liked it but i didn't buy it as i knew there was a few discount codes knocking around online and i wanted to save a few pounds.

P6295857

How cute ?!! I really love how this playsuit fits the shape looks great and it feels like it was made for me. This is another purchase that will be making its way to Blackpool with me. The material is quite a thick crepe type material which makes i really comfy to wear and seems to move with your body.

P6295861

The shorts are mid thigh and a lovely loose style, a lot of the playsuits i have feel can feel tight around the hips/bum when sitting down but this isn't like that. I also really love the print of this playsuit it's fun and bright and i couldn't think of a better playsuit to take with me.

P6295863

As you can see from the back there is an exposed zip and then a button fastening at the top. I found this really easy to do up myself especially as the zip only goes halfway up. Trust me as a girl who has gone out many a time in a playsuit there is nothing more annoying than not being able to do up it up and having to ask a stranger in the toilet to do it.

P6295866

If you have never tried a playsuit before what are you waiting for head over to Yours and try this beauty on for size I'm sure you'll love it! Also if you haven't seen it already check out the super cute Hayley Hasselhoff modelling for Yours.

Crazy Clerance

Just a super  quick outfit post today. For any of you that don't know Crazy Clearance is where you can pick up some serious bargains! I had my eye on a playsuit from Simply Be for months but by the time i went to buy it is was out of stock in my size.

PC085144

A few months ago I was checking crazy clearance and I spotted the playsuit in a 24. It's a lovely silky material with a lovely bird print on. I think it might be a little big it might look better a size smaller but it will be great for keeping cool during the summer.

PC085155

I've been busy working recently so haven't had much time to post but I have a few outfits coming up soon including a super cute galaxy print cat t shirt! I hope you have all had a great week :)

OMCZ- Nightwear

This is my first OMCZ challenge for a few weeks as i was busy and life got in the way a little but I'm back and ready to show you my take on nightwear.
This week we had to show what we would wear to sleep in, now i don't actually wear anything to bed but don't click away just yet I'm not going to show you my birthday suit!
I decided to show you how i style things that come from the nightwear section.

P9224878

This is a playsuit that i bought in a 2 pack from Simply Be it was from the nightwear section but i wear both of them out during the day and not for bed. You can still get them online here for £22, they are really soft and made from cotton so really light, perfect for the summer.
I got mine in a size 24/26 which is actually too big for me but i fix that by adding a belt, you can't see the belt as it hides in the fold of material.
During the summer i wore the other playsuit, a purple spot print one, on its own but i plan to add thick tights and my eyelash knit cardigan to this to make it wearable for the colder months.

P9224879

I wanted a leopard print playsuit for ages and was really happy when i found this, i don't mind what section of a website somethings from if i like it I'll wear it. So this was my take on nightwear, i just don't wear mine to bed!

Casual Playsuit

When i was at the Simply Be blogger takeover the other month the lovely Charlie pointed out a playsuit set she liked and said it's pyjamas but I'd wear it out! I agreed but when i went home to order them they had sold out in my size but while i was having a nosey at the site the other day i spotted another 2 pack of playsuits in the night wear section.
I decided to order them and i went for a size 24-26 as i thought the 20-22 might be a bit small. They were £22 for a pack of two which i think is good value, you can get them here.
I fully intend to wear these out of the house they are perfect especially in the heat and really comfy too!

P1014656

I think the 24-26 might be a bit big but i think the smaller size might have been too small for me so I'm sticking with these ones.

P1014659

This one is the purple polkadot playsuit but the other one in the pack is leopard print! I have wanted a leopard print playsuit forever but never found one above a size 18 so it might be from the nightwear section but i will be rocking that leopard one all summer!
I hope you are all having a lovely week :)

Playsuit Love

Here is last Saturday's ootd i wanted something comfy and easy to wear while i was out shopping. I decided on my ASOS playsuit which i got a few weeks ago in the sale.

I got the playsuit in a 24 for £22 in the sale its now out of stock but I'm sure ASOS will bring out more super cute playsuits in the summer.

P1014173

I wore it with my Primark pumps which i got in the sale for £3 and my Primark headscarf. The outfit was really comfy to wear around the shopping centre but it can be a little annoying when trying clothes on as you have to take the whole thing off!

P1014175

I also thought I'd show you my lovely husband who was looking very summery too, the shorts and shirt are from Primark too.

P1014168

P1014169

I love the print on the shirt it really cool and it was a bargain at £7, perfect for the summer.
Have you picked up any bargains recently?

Fatshionologie

This month theme was "a day at the races" i decided to do something a little different as the races aren't really my thing so i thought i would pay homage to the horses.
It was a great excuse to get out my Simply Be playsuit which i bought a while ago but was yet to wear.

The playsuit is Ruby Rocks and is still available on the Simply Be Website for £55 i got mine while a sale was on so i think in the end i paid about £40 for it.

P1014066

I sized up to a 24 but i didn't need to the playsuit is made from a thick stretch jersey so your usual size should be fine. I love the horse print and the relaxed fit of it and i can't wait till i can wear it out in the sun.

P1014067

The playsuit also has pockets which i love, and you can just step into it so no fiddly zips or buttons to worry about. I wore this with black tights and some Primark pumps for a relaxed look. I really love this playsuit its super comfy and who doesn't love a good print?!

P1014063

Check out the other ladies

I hope you have all had a great weekend did you spend it doing anything good?

I love a playsuit

As many of you know as well as dresses i do have a soft spot for playsuits and i do own quite a few, if i see one at a bargain price i have to have it !
I got this from Very along with my floral leggings and pretty dress during their sale. I got it for a bargain price of £11.50 which is a great and it came with a belt too.
I wore this to go to do the food shop and have dinner with my hubby and i must say its really comfortable.
Not sure why but i look super miserable in these pictures!

P1013436

I ordered the playsuit in a 24 and I'm so glad i did as it just fastens over the boobs. I wore it with the top 2 buttons undone and a cami underneath just in case as i didn't want to be flashing over dinner.
This playsuit unbuttons but only to above the waist and it doesn't have any zips so its really quite difficult to get in and out of, but once its on its really comfy. The playsuit is no longer available on the website, but if it does come back into stock id definitely recommend sizing up if you can.

P1013440

The print is really pretty, the material is really lightweight and soft so good for the summer too and it also has pockets which is always a bonus.
Are you loving playsuits too?

The best kind of shopping

The best kind of shopping is definitely fat shopping! I was lucky enough to get to go shopping recently with some amazing ladies. We met up and went shopping in Doncaster the lovely ladies, Lollylikes,Lisa,Rebecca,Becky,Beth,Steph and Lisa were there and we had a wonderful day.
I did manage to get one picture of my outfit before i left

I wore an old Asos playsuit size 22 with Primark tights and headscarf. The playsuit is really comfy to wear but a bit of a pain to have to keep unbuttoning to try clothes on, but i never really thought about that when i picked it out to wear.
We did a lot of shopping and seemed to take over every shop we went into it was great!
So here's what i bought on the day,

From Simply Be i bought this beautiful dress for a bargain price of £6.60 due to a 3 for 2 in the sales

P1013432

I also bought this dress at full price

P1013433

Then from Yours i bought this cute faux fur hat for £6

P1013434

Then i had some New Look vouchers to spend from xmas and bought these cute dresses. The bird print one was £9 in the sales and the other was full price at £22.99.

P1013435

I had a great time with all the ladies and i was really nice to meet Becky for the first time, we had a great laugh and some good food. Although i got a lot of funny looks from the girls when i ordered a vegetable burger with a side of yorkshire pudding!
Have you been on any good shopping trips recently?

Sales spree

I was lucky to get quite a few things in the sales after Christmas and they were all real bargains! I thought I'd show you what i got, these are only shots of the prints as full outfit posts will come soon. In fact you have already seen 1 of my sales bargains in the twice as nice post.
First up some very me shoes, not only leopard print but with a cats face on too what more could you want?!

Below heart print playsuit, pink polkadot dress, blue and red spot dress, floral dress

Faux fur jacket (that i have wanted for ages!) vintage style dress, blue skater dress

And i decided to branch out on the leggings front and got some floral and leopard print ones.

So they were my sale bargains, all apart from the leggings and jacket were bought online as i didn't find much in the shops.
Do you prefer to shop online or in person?

A very summery ootd

Here i am again in yet another playsuit but this time i decided to do it with bare legs! I always wear my playsuits with tights because they stop my legs rubbing together and i'm not in danger of flashing bum cheek. I wore this to go see my mum and nan and it was ridiculously warm so there was no way i could put tights on so i got out the worlds whitest legs, so white you can almost see though them. Don't get me wrong i love being pale but i sometimes forget just how pale i am until i wear something like this.
The playsuit was from asos curve in the sale for £14. It's no longer on the website but they do have lots of others to take your fancy. I got this in a 24 as it has buttons all the way down and we all know the problems i have with button fronted items. So here is it complete with some ridiculous posing :)

IMG_3019
This is my super hero pose!
I really like the playsuit its made of a nice lightweight material and sizing up meant that all the buttons fasten and don't gape. It's really lovely and summery to wear and even has pockets. The shoes are some old ones from primark and the sunglasses are from dorothy perkins ages ago.

IMG_3031

IMG_3033

I really like this playsuit and will be wearing it again with and without tights. I have a few other playsuits in my sights but I'll have to wait for the sales to snap those up.
What have you all be wearing to keep cool in the heat?
XOXO

Yet another playsuit

I wore this playsuit to out to visit the farm recently. I love animals and really enjoy places like this where you get to see the animals close up, my favourites are the goats and pigs. I had a lovely day out and as it was warm so i just put my hair up in a bun popped my shades on and my playsuit and off we went.

I wore tights with this because the playsuit is pretty short and it didn't want it to ride up and flash cheek. The playsuit is from tesco a few months ago it's a size 22 and was £16. I also have it in blue with swallow print which i blogged about here. It was very comfy to wear perfect for a day wandering around the farm. The sunglasses were from dorothy perkins a long time ago, the shoes and bag are from primark.
Here are a few pictures i took around the farm
My lovely hubby
Me with a cow

I hope you have had a great weekend have you been up to much?
