Acid Wash and Polka Dots

As you saw I'm my last post i fell in love with these Simply Be jeans and had to have them in every colour! So today I'm showing you the indigo acid wash ones, these were the first pair i bought and have me totally in love with the "Rosie" style. The fit is great and they really do hug you which i love. My advise on these jeans is to size down one size for a great fit as there are generous with plenty of stretch.

I wore this outfit last week when me and the Mr went to five guys for burgers, which i must add are the best burgers I've ever eaten. These jeans are comfy to travel in and you don't get that dig in at the waist which I've had with other jeans before. Length wise they are a little long for me but only about an inch or two. 

I decided to wear these with my Simply Be jacket which i got a month or so ago.  This blazer is quite thin with some stretch so you can easily size down in this, i went with a 20 and there is still room to add a thicker top underneath if you wanted to. I've been after a polka dot blazer for ages and this one is perfect and it has long sleeves too which is good for the colder months.

As i wanted to add a bit of colour i decided to wear my leopard print top which is also from Simply Be but no longer available. I really loved how this outfit all came together and i love the clash of leopard print and polka dots.

Bargain Biker

A few weeks ago i popped into the Simply Be store in the White rose to have a browse and to try on a few pieces I'd seen online which i posted about here. This leopard biker jacket had been on my radar for a while but i wasn't sure on the fit so i wanted to try it on first and luckily they had it in store. I fell in love with the jacket and was going to buy it but remembered i had a 10% off code at home so decided to wait and buy online, I'm really pleased i did as it was down to £25 instead of £50 online.

I sized down and went for a size 20 as i waned a fitted jacket when it was open but i can still fasten it all they way up as there is some stretch to the material. However if you want to be able to layer up under it then i would advise to get your normal size. 

I wore this with my Claire Richards jeans, which i know you have seen many times before but i honestly love them so much! The polkadot peplum is from last years sale at New Look. I really like this jacket it's very easy to wear and looks super cute with dresses too. Because of the stretch in the material it isn't restrictive to wear either.

The sleeves on the jacket are 3/4 length and flare out a little towards the bottom which i think adds a little extra touch to an already fabulous jacket. The animal print is a soft velvet like flocked print i did try to get a picture although it doesn't really show it in full. 

I'd recommend this jacket to anyone who like me loves a bit of animal print and is after something a little different. I don't usually buy much white clothing as i tend to spill food, more so when I'm wearing something that will stain easily but I'm crossing my fingers i can manage to keep this stain free. So if you see me wearing this jacket and a bib then you know why!

Blazer Love

I have recently rekindled my love of blazers, when i was younger i wore a blazer with jeans every chance i got although if you asked me to wear my school one that was a big no no! So when Yours Clothing asked me to pick a few items and i spotted this blazer i fell in love.

This blazer is a lovely soft jersey material, which is my preferred material as it moves with you and doesn't feel as restrictive as others made from a more structured material. I was sent this in a size 22 and this fit is great.

The sleeves are 3/4 ones which i really like, as i do have a massive love for my forearms. And i love the polkadot cuff at the end of the sleeves, i think it makes a plain black blazer stand out. You can also get this blazer with an animal print cuff which i love too. At £35 it's around the price you would pay for a blazer from most shops but its worth the money as i think they go with everything especially shorts!

I wore this with my jeans and leopard print tee and i felt fabulous. Blazers always make me feel smartly dressed and this outfit was definitely a winner for me ! If you want to get your hands on this beauty then its available online here.

Fast Food Tee

I mentioned in my post on Sunday that i got the most amazing tshirt ever from Primark. I love fast food so this couldn't have been more perfect for me.

I got the tshirt in a 20 and it fits well with a little room, it's quite thin so I'm not sure how well it will wash but it was only £5 so i can't complain too much.

The print of the tshirt is only on the front the back is plain white. I'm sure i will get a few looks with this tshirt on especially as a fat girl but i don't care I'll be the one rocking pizza, cheeseburger and hotdogs!

I wore this with my Claire Richards jeans which i seriously love, they are so comfy and i have worn them countless times since i got them. The are really comfy and amazing fitting so if you struggle to find jeans that fit then i would definitely recommend these!

I also spotted ice cream prints and sweet prints in Primark too if you're sweet than savoury and at £5 they are quite a bargain.

My Little Pony

I picked up this jumper a few weeks ago in Primark and fell in love. I love My Little Pony so after seeing this jumper i knew it had to be mine. I wore it last week for work with my trusty Claire Richards jeans and everyone seems to love My Little Pony and kept asking me if they could colour in the rest of the jumper.

I got the jumper in a size 20 and it fits me but there isn't much extra room so I'm not sure it would work on much larger bodies but its always worth a try if you spot one in your local Primark. 

The jumper is quite thin so it will work for the spring too and for only £10 you can't go wrong. I have lots of MLP brooches so I'm thinking of adding one of those the next time i wear it.

I have seen online that there are lots of different MLP pieces in Primark but this was the only one i could find in my local one. Have you got any of the pieces?

Howdy Cowgirl

Here is a outfit that i wore for dress down at work the other week, i wanted something comfy and easy to wear so i decided to go with a shirt i have had for ages but never worn.

The shirt was from Evans last summer but i never got around to wearing it. It's a size 24 and fits over the bust but it is a little big everywhere else. I would like it to be more fitted but i guess i could tuck it into my jeans to give it a more fitted look in the future. 

The shirt has long sleeves but also has a button half way up the sleeves so you can roll them up and wear them like i have here. This shirt was really comfy to wear so although this isn't one of my favourite outfits ever it was good for a day at work.

The jeans are my trusty Claire Richards ones from Fashion World which you have seen quite a number of times since i first got them. So this might not be the most fashion forward outfit but for a busy day at work it was perfect. I'm hoping to try to wear the shirt with other items and in different ways to see if i can find one that i really love.

I was asked several times when was wearing this if i was going to a hoe down so here is a picture of me doing some silly pose, i think i was attempting to line dance at the time!

Chloe Super Stretch Jeans

After falling in love with these jeans i decided i would branch out and try a coloured pair. I had heard such good things about the Chloe jeans from Simply Be so when i saw that the damson pair in the sale i decided to give them a go.

I got these jeans in a size 22 and in the 33'' length as the 30'' wasn't in stock at the time. I don't mind that they are long as it means i can turn them up or wear them with heels if i want to. The jeans are really stretchy and are comfortable to wear. 

Here they are from the front and back, as you can see they aren't low rise so they stop up and you don't have to spend half your life having to yank them back up to avoid flashing your bum. I got these jeans for £16 which i thought was a bargain but they are now even cheaper and only £12 so grab yourself a pair !

I have worn these jeans quite a lot since i first got them and i i really love them. I added my Asos Curve tshirt as i wanted a casual look, plus the little squirrel in the pocket is too hard to resist i love him!  I would recommend these jeans to anyone they have great stretch and are so comfy. I have really only worn them casually but i think they would be easy to dress up too.

I now have my eye on a lilac pair of jeans but I'm not sure if i have anything that would go with them and i really don't need to be adding even more to my already overstuffed wardrobes!

Casual and Cosy

Today i thought i would share with you my outfit from work last Saturday. I hate dragging myself out of bed early on a Saturday morning but if i have to i want to be cosy and comfy for the day. So this is what i wore last week when it was still really rainy and windy.

I'm pretty sure you will all have worked out now how much i love these Claire Richards jeans by the amount of times you have seen them over the last few weeks! These jeans have been the most amazing addition to my wardrobe and i have actually ordered another pair of jeans in a damson colour so I'll let you all know how i get on with those.

I decided to wear my Simply Be Ax Paris jumper which i got in January for the bargain price of £10 in the White Rose store. I am wearing a size 24/26 and the fit on me is great but it is definitely small fitting, i had picked up the 24/26 as i wanted it to be a little over sized which it isn't but i still love it anyway.

This jumper is one of the softest that i own, i adore eyelash knits but this is my favourite. I wore it all day and it hardly lost any off its fluffiness and kept its shape. I have another eyelash knit from another company which unfortunately from the beginning didn't keep its shape and now after several wears it  is considerably longer at the back than the front. But I'm pleased to say there is no sign of that happening with this.

Look at all that fluffy!! I really love this jumper and will be wearing it more over the cooler months maybe even with shorts which i think might look cute. If you want to get your hands on this jumper they may still have some in store or you can get it online here.

I Heart...

Don't worry this isn't another valentines days post just an ootd to show you what i wore today and it features my favourite tshirt ever! I personally don't celebrate valentines day but if you do i hope you have a great day whatever you do.
Here is my outfit from today which has been very wet and windy. Sorry i look a little windswept the Mr took these pics just after I'd finished work.

Because of the rain and wind i decided to wear my Simply Be Parka which i seriously love! This is a size 22 and a great for me. It keeps me dry and snugly warm but isn't really thick so you don't feel like your wearing a duvet cover.

I really like how the parka has a fur lined hood and trim just inside the coat for a bit of added warmth. I wore my Dpcted Apparel tshirt with the "i heart chubby bearded guys" slogan on and my Claire Richards Fashion World jeans which i am in love with! I cannot believe after not wearing jeans for over 5 years i have found the perfect pair. These are a 22 which fit like a glove they are snug but so so comfortable.

I wore flat pumps too which probably wasn't the most sensible idea as my feet got wet through but they looked cute and I'm a sucker for looking cute. I turned the bottoms up a little on the jeans as they are a little long if I'm in flats but i like that i could take the turn up down and wear them with heels.

This tshirt is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe and after i waited so long before ordering it ( i was worried about customs charges) i like to wear it ever chance i get. I really love this whole outfit, i felt really comfortable all day and it kept me warm and dry too so with the weather we are having at the minute it was perfect.

I of course can't finish a post about how much i love chubby bearded guys without mentioning the Mr, who is the best hubby (and blog photographer) ever.

Denim Dream

I was contacted recently by Fashion World and asked if i wanted to review some items from the new Claire Richards collection. There are some really cute pieces in the collection so of course i said yes, but this time i really waned to try something that i would never usually even try on never mind buy. So i went for jeans, i haven't worn a pair of full leg jeans in about 5 years and even then i never wore skinny jeans so i decided to really push the boundaries.

I went for the lace jersey top and i was sent this bag to finish off the look. I'll start with the bag first, it isn't something i would choose myself as i have this fear of spiked items and that if left in my vicinity long enough one will end up in my eye. And believe me i am clumsy enough for this to happen! The bag is great though its really roomy with lots of pockets and it feels like a really sturdy bag too.

Now onto these jeans, they are perfection!! I asked for these in a 22, having not bought jeans in a while i just asked for the size i would in a dress. The 22 fits me and i can fasten them but they are on the snug side, however i think that the 24 would have been too big and wouldn't have given the skinny fit look. 

These jeans have stretch to them, are high waisted and were really comfortable to wear. Length wise these are great for me they are a little gathered when i have flats on like here but i like that and i means that i can wear them with heels too.

I decided as I'd gone for the jeans that i would choose this jersey top as i thought they would look great together, and i think they do. The top is a size 22 and has plenty of room in it, so you can get your normal size and it will fit great. What i really loved about this top is the sleeves, the lace pattern really stands out on the arms. I already have plans to wear this with my shorts in the summer as the top is really light.

I really love all the parts of this outfit and will definitely be wearing them again together and separately. I want to say a big thank you to Fashion World for giving me the chance to review the pieces and to  find what i think might be the most perfect jeans ever!

Fat Babes In Jeans

When i went shopping with the girls i tried some cropped jeans on in Evans and i fell in love and so did the lovely Lisa so she bought them too. You have seen me in the jeans here already but me and Lisa wanted to show you how we both styled them.

It's been a while since i wore a headscarf so i thought I'd pop one on but instead of my usual roll i went with a side swooped fringe and i love how it looks!

I decided to wear the jeans with my Primark mouse pumps and headscarf and my Clements Ribeiro t-shirt which i got from Evans. I went for a size 20 in the t-shirt and the fit is great, its quite a thick material so good for summer days when there is a bit of a cool breeze. There isn't much stretch to it though although i do think its a generous fit. I can't wait to wear it with my shorts i think it will look super cute.

As i said in my other post i am in love with these jeans, they are just perfect! i went for a 24 and i think that's the best fit for me, if you want to give them a try you can get them here.

I Can't Believe It!

I actually now own a pair of jeans! I got these recently from Evans (before the spending ban) I took a 22 and a 24 into the changing rooms and decided the 24 was the best fit for me.

They are stretchy fabric and finish a few inches above my ankle, I have never found jeans before that were comfy and that I wanted to wear but I love these! I surprised myself hen i put them on and loved how they looked.

They are quite high waisted so sit really well and I wasn't pulling them up all the time either like i used to have to do with the jeans i wore years ago. I decided to wear these with my Asda t-shirt which you have seen a few times before now.

The jeans were £19.50 which I think is pretty reasonable and are available online here if you fancy a pair. They are great quality and didn't go baggy around the thighs or knees which sometimes happens.

I can see me getting lots of wear out of these jeans and now I finally have something that i feel dressed down it and that will be perfect for trips to the zoo or a walk around the dam.

I can't believe I have finally found the perfect fitting pair of jeans!

Admire From A Far

So i guess that is no great shock to you that 95% of my wardrobe is dresses, add in a few playsuits, a very small amount of t-shirts and of course those short shorts you've seen a few times!
There is a item of clothing that i do admire on other people and i turn green with envy when i hear of others finding their perfect pair, it's jeans!
I do love dresses so much but i wouldn't mind a cute pair of jeans that i could wear on those days that a dress just isn't suitable.
So out on a search i went for Womens Jeans and i can't believe how much choice their is out there! It's been over 4 years since i last wore jeans and back then as plus size i usually had about 3 pairs to choose from.
Just a quick search has brought back so many results here are a few pairs that caught my eye

I love coloured jeans i think they look great and this pair is fab coming in 3 different leg lengths and for £32 they won't break the bank either.

I also came across this pair which you can buy to fit your thighs, they come in either slim,regular or fuller fit for £42.

My eye was immediately drawn to this pair of jeans i love the floral print, I'm sure you all know how much i love a good print!

When i saw these they reminded me so much of a pair i had when i was younger so i had to include them. Even though i haven't worn jeans for years i have a soft spot for a good bootcut.

Now that I've been looking at these jeans i feel like i need a pair in my life but which to choose?!
