This months fatshionologie theme is trousers. as you might have guessed i didn't have many options for this as i only own 3 pairs of leggings and 1 pair of trousers.

So i decided to go with my Clements Ribeiro Mimosa trousers which you have seen in a previous post here.

The trousers are a size 20 i found i needed to size down in these as they were quite generous. I wore them with my Asos curve cami in a size 22, my Primark flats and New Look cardigan .

The outfit was super comfy and it was nice to wear something different to a dress, its definitely an outfit I'll be wearing again.

I actually wore this out to dinner last weekend it was pretty chilly and rainy out but this cardigan kept me very cosy. I guess the outfit looks bit like i went out in my pj's but i really love it !

Super soft spots

I was contacted recently and offered some things to review from Curvissa i chose a super cute strawberry vest which i blogged about here and a lovely red and white spotted cardigan.

The cardigan is super soft and a great fit. I asked for the 18-20 as i have the same cardigan in leopard print and i knew to size down. I can still fasten the 18-20 so its quite roomy which i love! 

I wore the cardigan with my white jersey dress which I've had for a few years from Tesco, tights are from Primark and shoes are Irregular Choice.

This cardigan is available online here for £42 which might seem a little pricey for a cardigan but the quality is amazing and it really is worth the price, you will definitely get your wear out of it. I have worn both this one and the leopard print one several times and they keep there shape really well and  are lovely and snuggly. You can also get this is blue and white and it is available in sizes 14-32 which is a great size range.

Its even snazzy inside! I cannot praise this cardigan enough i love it so much i really hope they continue to bring it out in many different prints.

This is two dresses in one! What more could i ask for i love the floral print which will look lovely in the summer there is also a second layer under this which is another dress in blue stripes. Available here £69  in sizes 14-32.

I love this denim jacket, i used to live in mine when i was younger but when it no longer fit i could never find another that i loved as much, but i think i might have hit the jackpot here! Available here for £45 in sizes 14-32.

I love a pastel clouded pump for the summer and these are really cute. Available here in the sale from £15 also in white,black and yellow in sizes 3-10, the size range is fab i love that they have included the smaller and larger sizes as so many places seem to stick to 4-7.

After getting the strawberry print vest I'm looking for more to go with my shorts this summer and thought this was pretty i love the purple flowers. Available here for £22 in sizes 14-32.

Sheer Floral

I went to visit my mum this weekend and needed to pick an outfit, i was having one of those days where you can see the clothes you have but can't image an outfit put together. I remembered i had this shirt which i bought with some birthday money last month.

The shirt was from Yours i am lucky enough to have a store close by so i can pop in to try things on before deciding if i want to buy them. This shirt drew my eye straight away the bright colours and the little hint of lace at the back. 

The shirt is from the Limited collection at Yours and is available online here, it was £28 and i decided after trying on a few sizes to go with the 24. I actually bought this shirt to wear tucked into my short shorts because it looks amazing with them! But today i wanted to be comfy and relaxed so i went with my trusty Tesco leggings.

I love the open back and hint of lace i think it added and extra touch to the shirt. It hasn't showed up in the pictures but the shirt is sheer but i think because of the floral pattern it doesn't seem quite so see through.

Now obviously it pretty cold out so i did add my super comfy snugly cardigan over the top so i didn't freeze.

I felt comfy in this outfit and that what i wanted for the day but I'll definitely be pairing the shirt tucked into my shorts in future as i think that looks so much better.

Mums Birthday

It was my Mums birthday recently so me and the hubby went over for a visit and to take her her presents. For her birthday i decided to do something a little different and make her up a gift hamper, i added some home made cookies and all the sweets and treats we used to enjoy together when i was younger.We had a lovely day and finished it off with a yummy chinese :)
Here's what i wore on the day

This dress is one that i picked up from the fat swap from the lovely Becky, i really love it. I believe it was original from asda and is a size 22, the fit for me is perfect! 

The dress has a thick elasticated waist and is made from a lovely thin cotton, its sleeveless so perfect for the summer time.

I love the print on this dress, i really like floral print and think the black background makes this print stand out really nicely.

I wore this with Primark tights and my Tesco cardigan, i added a handmade brooch and my new headband which was a gift from the lovely Lisa.

I thought i would share what my lovely hubby wore on the day, as the lady in paperchase commented, you can't go wrong with Micky.

Super cute Strawberries

When i was sent some images of the new pieces at Curvissa by the lovely Lizzie from Freshwater PR this vest jumped out at me straight away. The print is so cute and i knew just what it would go perfectly with, my new short shorts!

I wore this to go for Rebecca's birthday lunch with lots of other lovely people and it was really comfy, although I'm not sure how weather appropriate it was as it was pretty cold and rainy outside but i thought it looked so cute once it was on, i wasn't changing.

I was sent the strawberry print vest in a size 22 and the fit is perfect, the material has a little stretch to it and is a lovely soft cotton. This will be a great little vest to wear during warm summers days and the print makes it stand out from the plain vests that you see everywhere during the warmer months. The vest is available in sizes 14-32 for £14 which is a great price for a cute 100% cotton vest.

I wore the vest with my New Look shorts in a size 22, Primark headscarf, thick tights and my gorgeous Curvissa leopard print cardigan in a 18/20. You can see my previous post on the cardigan here.

I really love this whole outfit I'm so happy it came together just as I'd imagined.

Sales Swallows

A few weeks back i went shopping with some lovely ladies you can see that post here, while i was there i found two dresses in New Look i loved. This is one of them

I managed to get this is the sale for a bargain price of £9. I really love bird print and i have a few of the New Look bird dresses in my wardrobe but i love how this is a more relaxed style.

I got this dress in a 24, i did try on the 22 but i liked the looser fit i got with the 24. I did see this dress when it first came out but i never got around to getting it so I'm glad i picked it up in the sale.

Its really comfy, made from a soft jersey material and is long enough for me to wear with tights or leggings. It has a thin material string to tie to give the dress some shape.

I wore this with my trusty Tesco leggings in a size 20 and my New Look cardigan size 22. This cardigan is great for the colder weather and it has been getting a lot of wear recently, i can't recommend it enough. The shoes and headscaft are from Primark.

Fat swap ootd

So i said I'd do a post on my outfit from the fat swap but I've only just gotten around to it. I'd bought myself some short shorts and couldn't wait to wear them so they have their fist outing at the swap.
My lovely hubby ordered me a t-shirt that i wanted to go with them but it came after I'd left for the swap so i went with this outfit.

You can just about see the bottom or the shorts, they are from New Look i got them in a size 22 and the cost £14.99. they are made from a stretch denim so get your usual size, depending on your shape you may be able to size down. They are still available online here if you fancy a pair.

I wore them with my leopard print shirt from Evans ages ago in size 22, my primark headscarf, tights in size 3 from Yours and my New Look cardigan size 22. The shorts are really comfy to wear and sit high waisted and do stay in the right place most of the time although i did have to re adjust a few times!

Twice as nice but thirds a charm!

If you saw my sales post last week then you have already had a sneak peak of this dress. It was from Very in the sale for £10.50 which was a bargain! I had tweeted about it and Lisa said she was going to order it too but by the time she tried it had gone out of stock. I was having a browse on the Very site and saw it was back in stock so tweeted her to let her know being the shopping enabler that i am. Not only did Lisa order it but so did Lollylikes so today you don't just get to see it on 2 lovely ladies but 3!

So here is me in the dress 

I wore this to go out shopping with my hubby and i can honestly say it's a really comfy dress. I wore it with my furry New Look cardigan size 22, purple tights and a primark headscarf. When i bought the dress i wasn't sure on how much stretch it would have so i went for a 24 as in the past I've found i needed to size up at Very but i really didn't need to.

This dress is true to size so just buy your usual size if your going to buy it. The sleeves have plenty of room for me and there is plenty of boob room due to me sizing up. The main reason i added this to my basket on Very was the cute print which i really love and i think it looks great with the purple tights.

I'd recommend this dress, not only is its bargain price but it will see you through to summer and will be perfect for lazy summer weekends.

Floral leggings

As you might have seen in my recent post about my sales bargains, i have branched out into printed leggings. Before this my legging choice had been exclusively black! But while i was on Very looking at the sale i spotted these gorgeous floral leggings.

They were in the sale for £6 but are no longer available, they were from the So fabulous range. I ordered them in a size 24 and I'm glad i sized up i found them to be quite small fitting. They fit well over my stomach, bum and thighs but as I've got giant calves they are quite tight around here.

They are really well made and the material is lovely and thick so they aren't see through like some leggings can be. Well worth the sale price of £6. I wore them with the sheer shirt i got from the fat swap last year, the new look cardigan you have seen a few times now and a primark cami under the shirt.

I really love these and plan to get a lot more wear out of them, they are really vibrant and they brighten up what other wise might be a bit of a boring outfit.

Twice As Nice

It seems me and Lollylikes have done it again and bought the same dress as each other. We have similar tastes so I'm not surprised it happened, in fact we have bought two dresses recently that are the same. So we decided to do joint posts so you can see how we style them and how they look on both of our shapes.

The first up is the spot print tea dress from Simply Be which is in the sale for £25 i paid £22.50 for it as i had a discount code for 10% off and free delivery. So with that i couldn't pass up the chance to use it with an order. I found the sales online really good this year and i had been lusting after this dress for quite a long time.

The dress is gorgeous and the colours are really vibrant. The material is quite thin so perfect for layering up in the winter or wearing on its own o keep cool in the summer. The sleeves are loose so there is plenty of room.

I bought this dress in my usual size 22 and its perfect! It fits my boobs with some room and has a tie back so you can get a more defined waist if you want one. I went for the standard length dress, which is  41 inches and i love the length but they also do a shorter one at 37 inches if you are short like me and prefer a higher hem line.

I wore this out to the cinema with the hubby and it was really comfy and warm thanks to the tights and cardigan.

I wore the dress with tights and headscarf from Primark and my Curvissa cardigan, then at the request of Lolly i put on some sexy shoes :) The shoes are Irregular Choice and i hadn't worn the before so i thought they deserved an outing and i think they go quite well with the outfit.

A faux jumpsuit

Happy New Year to you all, i hope your all having a great new year. I have seen a few resolution posts but i don't make any resolutions or goals for the coming year. I like to live by the rule if i want to do it i will and if i don't i won't and that has made me pretty happy for the last 12 months :)
You have seen quick picture of this outfit on a previous post but as I'm totally in love with this outfit i thought I'd show it to you again. My lovely hubby got me the Mimosa print trousers and top from the Evans sale and gave them to me for Christmas. I have fallen in love with these when they first came out but at £45 each they were a little expensive. When i saw they had gone down in the sale to £20 each i was so excited and my lovely hubby said he would get them for me.

I am 100% completely in love! I have worn this outfit quite a few times since i opened it on Christmas day, i just want to wear it all the time its so comfy and cute. The trousers are a size 20 i found i could size down with these as they are quite generous and the top is an 18, again i sized down twice in the top as i wanted a more fitted look. The top is available here and the trousers here if you love them as much as i do.

Sorry for the slightly blurry shot here not sure what happened. The trousers have pockets which is always good, a elasticised waist band and are made from a jersey material with stretch. Everything about this outfit is so comfy and i think it looks great. I want more of these tops and trousers in different prints, as i think they are amazing.

I wore this with my new look cardigan as it was quite chilly out but i can see this being worn a lot during the summer as the material is quite lightweight. 

I think this is quite a love it or hate it outfit but i love it sooo much!

Lace and Love

This is an outfit i wore last week for my hubby's birthday. I think this dress has a birthday feel about and decided it needed another outing. I have already blogged about the dress before here i really love it.
So onto the outfit

The dress is from Simply Be and is available here should you want to get your hands on it for new years. As i said in the previous post it's a great dress and very comfortable just a little on the short side for me, but this time i wore it with flats (not seen) and weirdly it didn't seems as short.

The cardigan is an old one its from the Beth Ditto range at Evans and is a size 22/24 i really love this cardigan but for some reason it doesn't get the wear that it should. I really loved the Beth Ditto range as I'm sure many of you did too, i can't remember how much i paid for this as it was a while ago but if you are after one then it does sometimes pop up on eBay.

As it was the hubby's birthday we went for something to eat at TGI fridays but as usual i didn't get any pictures i was too busy tucking in! Its was quite chilly in the restaurant but the cardigan kept me pretty warm. I did try to get a close up of the dress and cardigan but for some reason in the pictures the dress looks burgundy but its really a lovely purple so i didn't include that.

Thankfully I'm now off work till January do you have any plans for your time off or are you unlucky and have to work?
