Crazy Clerance
Just a super quick outfit post today. For any of you that don't know Crazy Clearance is where you can pick up some serious bargains! I had my eye on a playsuit from Simply Be for months but by the time i went to buy it is was out of stock in my size.
A few months ago I was checking crazy clearance and I spotted the playsuit in a 24. It's a lovely silky material with a lovely bird print on. I think it might be a little big it might look better a size smaller but it will be great for keeping cool during the summer.
I've been busy working recently so haven't had much time to post but I have a few outfits coming up soon including a super cute galaxy print cat t shirt! I hope you have all had a great week :)

Sales Swallows
A few weeks back i went shopping with some lovely ladies you can see that post here, while i was there i found two dresses in New Look i loved. This is one of them
I managed to get this is the sale for a bargain price of £9. I really love bird print and i have a few of the New Look bird dresses in my wardrobe but i love how this is a more relaxed style.
I got this dress in a 24, i did try on the 22 but i liked the looser fit i got with the 24. I did see this dress when it first came out but i never got around to getting it so I'm glad i picked it up in the sale.
Its really comfy, made from a soft jersey material and is long enough for me to wear with tights or leggings. It has a thin material string to tie to give the dress some shape.
I wore this with my trusty Tesco leggings in a size 20 and my New Look cardigan size 22. This cardigan is great for the colder weather and it has been getting a lot of wear recently, i can't recommend it enough. The shoes and headscaft are from Primark.
Do you have a print that you can't get enough of?

A payday treat
When i got paid i decided to pop into Tesco and have a look at the clothes section as i hadn't been in in a while. I was very happy to see lots in the True section and this dress jumped out at me. I'm a big fan of bird print and i loved the cut of the dress so for £18 i couldn't say no!
The dress has 3/4 sleeves so perfect for this time of year and is made from a jersey material with stretch. I got my usual size 22 which fits perfectly, if you want to get yourself this lovely dress it's available of the website in sizes 16-28. I really love the bird print some of them even look like they are kissing (well to me they do)
The dress has a tie at the back to bring it in under the bust but i found the dress fitted me fine so i just left that loose. On me the dress is just over knee length and was really comfortable to wear, i think the dress will be great in the summer too with bare legs and some little pumps or sandals.
I think the dress will be a firm favourite in my wardrobe and its perfect to wear for work too!
Did you get yourself a payday treat?

A bird print obsession
As you probably know i have a bit of a love for bird print and faux fur so for this outfit i combined the two. I hadn't spotted this dress on the Tesco website but when the lovely Kathryn tweeted a picture of her new dress and i saw this knew i needed to had it!
My lovely hubby bought it for me along with another dress from the True range and i couldn't wait to wear it.
I wore the dress with my faux fur stole from Style 369 last year and my Firmoo glasses, reviewed here. It fits really well another one that hugs your curves, its very similar to this Tesco dress i posted about recently.
This dress is available online here in some sizes or you could try your local store as i find the bigger sizes are often in there when they have sold out online. The dress was £18 and for a great fitted lined dress i think that's a really good price. I bought this in a 22 and as you can see it is figure hugging but i like that.
The dress had a nice side tie and a gathered detail to the side, the sleeves help to keep the chill of now it's getting colder and it's a nice length to wear with and without tights.
I also wore my primark headband that i got a while ago i really love the swallow on it however while i was out it broke and the bird snapped off, hopefully i will be able to fix it with some glue.
I just wore this to go over to my mums for a quick visit, it was really comfy to wear, i think it looked great and with the faux fur stole i was toasty warm.
How has your week been?

It's mustard love
Today's outfit was one i wore out to lunch with the hubby, both the dress and cardigan are new and i couldn't wait to wear them.
Dress new look, Cardigan matalan, Brooch handmade |
The dress is from New look i got it about 2 months ago but hadn't worn it yet. It was £22.99 and a size 22, the fit of this dress is perfect! It is knee length and is lined with the bird print chiffon over the top, it has a nice floaty effect and an elasticised waist with a belt too. The dress is sleeveless so great for the summer but with my cosy cardigan over the top it still works with the cooler weather.
I wore my over sized bow headband to keep my hair in place, and my new Matalan cardigan. I really love this cardigan, i wanted a mustard cardigan and was happy when i spotted this is Matalan in was the last one left and a size 20 so it was fate!
The cardigan was £20 and a size 20 it fits me perfectly and i can fasten it all the way up too. It's quite a chunky knit so it keeps you really tasty and warm.
I really love these two pieces together and i can see me getting a lot more wear out of the cardigan over the next few months and then the dress again in the summer too.
Have you bought anything recently ?

A first time for everything
This is the outfit i wore to go shopping at the weekend. Most of the outfit you will have seen before in previous posts but as it's getting chillier i added a coat one that you haven't seen before. In fact i think this is the first time on the blog that I've worn a coat, i tend to get very warm so i tend to only break the coats out in really cold weather.
This however is a very special coat i love every single thing about it. The coat is from the first Clements Ribeiro collection at Evans. It was a very pricey coat for me at least, i paid £99 for the coat only for it to go down to £25 four weeks later. I'm sure you've all had this happen at one time or another but it's so frustrating when it does. I love the coat though so that made me feel better.
The coat is a size 20 and doesn't have any buttons or fastenings, as I've said i find i get too warm in coats most of the time so i usually wear them open anyway. It also has 3/4 sleeves but i must have short arms because they are almost full length on me. It also has pocks so you can keep your hands warm too.

I wore my polka dot New look dress with i posted about here and my Matalan bag which you have also seen here. I added my pink poodle brooch which i made myself to the collar and i was good to go.
The coat kept the wind and the chill in the air away and it was really comfy to wear. I really love this coat so will definitely be wearing it more as the weather gets colder. I also managed to get a picture of the hubby looking all beardy.
Have you had to break out your winter coat yet?
I hope you all have a great week and thanks for reading :)

Swanning about
This is a outfit i wore earlier in the week, i had the day off work and had intended to spend it in my pj's but my hubby got a last minute holiday at work and came home to surprise me, with a giant bourbon and an iced tea isn't he the best?!
We decided to head over to doncaster as i really needed a new bra, i had seen a few on the simply be website so i decided to visit the store to try a few on. Now if you haven't been to a simply be store and you have one near you i suggest you go it was a great experience. As i said i was only going for a bra but i did end up taking a playsuit and a dress into the changing rooms with me too. The store had a great sale on and most of the stock was reduced. It was really well laid out and i was very impressed with the store and the staff. The changing rooms are amazing and they have a magic mirror that takes your picture and you can email it to yourself or put it on twitter or facebook. I did try to use it but i think it must have been having an off day and just didn't want to work for me, sometimes i think technology hates me!
I ended up buying the dresses and a bra and put it onto my simply be account as you are able to do this in store as long as you have photo id and your account details. I decided as i was going to the simply be store it was only right to be wearing simply be so i put on my swan print dress I've had for a few months.
Have you been up to much recently? bought any bargains ?

I bought this dress in my usual size 22 and it fits really well its so comfy and as its made of jersey it moves with you. It was £39 and is still available here if you are planning to buy it you don't need to size up its a great fit and a good length for me too.
I wore the dress with my new necklace which i love and you can read about in this post.
Here's a sneak peek of my dress and playsuit which i will blog about soon i promise.
My mr also spotted a sweet stand on the way out and we bought a few treats.I cannot explain how much i love baby ruth's!

Out and about with the birdies
On sunday me and the hubby met up with lolly likes fatshion and her mr for a ponder around the shops and something to eat. We went into primark first where my hubby bought himself a dinosaur onsie and me 3 pairs of reading glasses that i plan on having the lenses changed in so they are my prescription. I love them I'm so glad that i found out about a cheap place to get the lenses changed from the lovely lolly.
Here are the glasses all from primark
We also had a look in evans who had got a huge sale on at the minute and my gorgeous hubby bought me a dress. It was less than half price at £30! i love it and can't wait to wear it.
The dress is from evans i got it in the 15% off for the jubilee. I bought a size 24 as i usually find it help to size up in sienna couture. The dress isn't on the evans website at the minute but it was still in store when we went in. I paid £33 for it as i got the discount but it was £39 full price. The material is really soft and silky and there is a stretch panel in the back so i could have probably got my usual size.

We went to rice for dinner and although the food was nice the service wasn't and we had to wait nearly and hour for what they call "fast" food but the company was great so it could have been worse.

Saturday shopping
Yesterday me and the hubby went shopping to meadowhall, we were only going for a nosey but i ended up buying a few things, that'll be my shopaholic tendencies! I wasn't sure what to wear so i decided to have a proper look through my wardrobe and find something i hadn't worn before. I went with my new simply be dress, i had seen it online and then again when the catalogue came through and one day while browsing twitter i saw that it was on offer at half price just for that day so i snapped it up. The dress is still available here on the website so if your looking for a cute light weight summer dress go buy it. I would recommend the dress its a great fit and really comfortable to wear, i got my usual size i don't think you need to size up for it. I wore it with my primark tights, tesco cardigan (which i swear i do actually take off !) my irregular choice bag and my snood i got from ebay.
I did buy i few things while i was out here they are, i will do a blog post soon about the dresses so for now you only get a sneak peek. I loved both evans dresses and couldn't decide but then i saw you got 15% off for the jubilee because they were blue so that sealed the deal.
How is your weekend going, have you been shopping and bought anything nice?
