Payday Treats

This is a mix and match of all the bits I've bought over the last few months but hadn't got around to sharing with you. As I've been busy at work i haven't had time for any outfit pictures so i thought this was a good time to share my new bits with you.
First up are a few bits i got from Asda and Matalan. The rings were a bargain £3, the earrings £2 and the pink biker jacket was £30. I love the jacket so much the pink colour is perfect and i adore the faux fur collar! I got this in a size 20 and i can zip it up although i prefer it open.

The acid wash jeggings are a size 20 from Matalan. They are super soft and stretchy, i had seen them on Leah who got them from the Rogers and Rogers section but they didn't have my size in my local Matalan so i decided to give the petite sections size 20 a go and I'm glad i did. While was there i picked up this super cute bag and the Mr decided to treat me which was super nice of him.

On a shopping trip to Meadowhall with my mum she kindly bought me a few bits in Primark, some shoes which are a bargain £4 and perfect for work. I picked up the roller ball perfume too which smells lovely, and is slim enough to fit in any of my handbags and only £2.

This is a top i have had for ages, i bought it a few months ago when i went shopping with Lisa. It was £5 in the H&M sale and is a size XL.

Lastly i have picked up a few red lipsticks during my shopping trips. From Left to right they are, Sleek Russian Roulette, 17 Rule Breaker, 17 Date Night.

I didn't realise i had got so much over the last few months until i went to take these pictures! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend :)

Sheer Floral

I went to visit my mum this weekend and needed to pick an outfit, i was having one of those days where you can see the clothes you have but can't image an outfit put together. I remembered i had this shirt which i bought with some birthday money last month.

The shirt was from Yours i am lucky enough to have a store close by so i can pop in to try things on before deciding if i want to buy them. This shirt drew my eye straight away the bright colours and the little hint of lace at the back.

P1013785

The shirt is from the Limited collection at Yours and is available online here, it was £28 and i decided after trying on a few sizes to go with the 24. I actually bought this shirt to wear tucked into my short shorts because it looks amazing with them! But today i wanted to be comfy and relaxed so i went with my trusty Tesco leggings.

P1013790

I love the open back and hint of lace i think it added and extra touch to the shirt. It hasn't showed up in the pictures but the shirt is sheer but i think because of the floral pattern it doesn't seem quite so see through.
Now obviously it pretty cold out so i did add my super comfy snugly cardigan over the top so i didn't freeze.

P1013782

I felt comfy in this outfit and that what i wanted for the day but I'll definitely be pairing the shirt tucked into my shorts in future as i think that looks so much better.
As always thank you so much for following and reading it means a lot to me :)
I hope your all having a great week

Black and Orange

I was lucky enough to pick this cute little dress up from the swap last month, it was brought to the swap by Bettie. As soon as i tried it on i loved it the cut is great and it felt really cute on with a hint of casual.

Ive worn this dress several times since i picked it up from the swap its a great colour and its the comfiest dress I've ever worn! The dress was originally from Asos and is a size 26, it has an elasticated waist panel at the back which helps to create a waist. This dress also has pockets which is always a bonus!

I told a joke while the hubby was taking the pictures
he didn't think it was that funny but i thought
it was!
I wore this to Rebecca's house on Saturday night, where i had a fabulous time and lots of yummy food and cakes.
I wore it with my Tesco leggings and cardigan which I've had for ages but its so comfy and fits so well that i can't bare to part with it. I also wore the lovely horse necklace that Beth gave to me for my birthday.

This dress is just one of the reasons that i love clothes swaps i can't wait for the next one! They are a great day of meeting up with people, getting rid of your unwanted bits and finding some new gems to update your wardrobe.

I hope your all having a great week :) thank you as always for stopping by and having a read.

Leopard leggings

I have wanted a pair of leopard print leggings forever, i know they are a marmite item but i just love them. Lets be honest i love anything leopard print!
I finally found the perfect pair in New Look just after xmas, they were the right colour and made from typical legging material, i had seen some before in new Look but they were made from a felt like material.

The leggings were actually the only pair they had in store and are a size 24. They fit great on the legs but are a little big around the stomach, a size 22 may have been a better fit but as they only had the 24 in store i can't say for sure.

P1013447

The leggings were £9.99 more than i would usually pay but as they are leopard print i made an exception. I wore them out with my eyelash knit jumper from Yours and i was cosy and comfy all day.
Here's what my husband likes to call an action shot, not sure what i was doing but i think the picture is cute.

I hope you are all having a great weekend :)

Floral leggings

As you might have seen in my recent post about my sales bargains, i have branched out into printed leggings. Before this my legging choice had been exclusively black! But while i was on Very looking at the sale i spotted these gorgeous floral leggings.

P1013401

They were in the sale for £6 but are no longer available, they were from the So fabulous range. I ordered them in a size 24 and I'm glad i sized up i found them to be quite small fitting. They fit well over my stomach, bum and thighs but as I've got giant calves they are quite tight around here.

close up of leggings print

They are really well made and the material is lovely and thick so they aren't see through like some leggings can be. Well worth the sale price of £6. I wore them with the sheer shirt i got from the fat swap last year, the new look cardigan you have seen a few times now and a primark cami under the shirt.

P1013396

I really love these and plan to get a lot more wear out of them, they are really vibrant and they brighten up what other wise might be a bit of a boring outfit.
How do you feel about print leggings?

Sales spree

I was lucky to get quite a few things in the sales after Christmas and they were all real bargains! I thought I'd show you what i got, these are only shots of the prints as full outfit posts will come soon. In fact you have already seen 1 of my sales bargains in the twice as nice post.
First up some very me shoes, not only leopard print but with a cats face on too what more could you want?!

Below heart print playsuit, pink polkadot dress, blue and red spot dress, floral dress

Faux fur jacket (that i have wanted for ages!) vintage style dress, blue skater dress

And i decided to branch out on the leggings front and got some floral and leopard print ones.

So they were my sale bargains, all apart from the leggings and jacket were bought online as i didn't find much in the shops.
Do you prefer to shop online or in person?

Cosy knit

While i was out shopping the other weekend i went into Yours as i wanted to try on the jumper that i had seen in the email newsletter a few weeks ago. The jumper looked so snug and cosy and as you know I'm not really a separates girl but this just jumped out at me.

I got the jumper in its bigger size a 26 as i wanted it as baggy as possible, there is a lot of stretch to the jumper so although i wear a 22 i think up to a 30 could fit in the 26 if you didn't mind a closer fit. The jumper was £28 and is available online here i don't think the website picture shows just how gorgeous this jumper is. Its super soft and cuddly warm and the perfect jumper for winter Sundays when you wants to snuggle up and watch films.

P1013196

I wore the jumper with a scarf i got from the fat swap, tied around the head to keep my hair in place and my trusty Tesco leggings.  I can see me wearing this lots over the winter, the jumper is an eyelash knit and is slightly see through in some parts which i like, but if it was super chilly you might want to put a cami underneath for extra warmth.

P1013199

I really love this jumper its defiantly worth the money, the only thing i found was that the sleeves were quite long on my little arms as I'd sized up to the 26. I really want Yours to bring this out in some more colours so i can stock up, i think it would be great in a blue or maybe pink.
Have you bought your winter knits yet?

Sheer joy

Check me out with the cheesy blog titles! This outfit was one i wore to pop out to see my mum the other day. I found this amazing sheer shirt at the fat swap. It was brought by the lovely Lisa, its from asda and a size 24. I would never normally pick up anything like this and when i was talking my hubby through the things i'd got from the swap he did raise his eyebrows quizzically. I am so glad i picked it up because i love it, now this outfit is all black and as i was going to my mums i didn't put any accessories with it. She has 2 very boisterous dogs who like to jump and have big cuddles so you have to keep things to a minimum, which means no glasses ! next time i wear it i will add some colour to the outfit.

The black cami under the shirt and the leggings are both primark size 20. Im not very impressed with the leggings they are a bit see through and i found them quite small but for £3 i can't complain! The shoes are from primark a few months ago.
Here are nescafe and tetley making their blog debut

Not the most inspired outfit ever but it does the job for a visit to mums.
Do you ever pick something up that's so far from your usual style only to find your in love with it?

It's not a dress!

So as the title suggests im not wearing a dress today shock horror! I'm off to see friends who have a lovely but jumpy dog so tights and a dress just aren't practical.
So here it is, the cardigan is my old tesco one the shirt and leggings are both Evans. The leggings are a size 20 and very comfy but a little thin. The shirt is a 22 and I adore it, it's so comfy and fits great plus it's leopard so a complete win for me. Shoes and headscarf are primark.
Hope your all having a great weekend
