Blogger Takeover OOTD

Last week i was invited to the Simply Be blogger takeover day i posted about the day on Monday which you can read here if you missed it.
I wanted to wear something that i hadn't had chance to yet so i decided to go for my E1 London leopard print dress which i got last year from Simply Be.

P1014360

This dress is a size 22 and a perfect fit! I love it so much, i have no idea why i hadn't worn it before i think it just got mixed in with all the other leopard and got overlooked. I love the knot under the bust which gives the dress a great shape and the long sleeves meant i didn't need to take a jacket as it kept me warm enough.

P1014362

A lot of ladies asked me where the dress was from unfortunately they no longer have it on Simply Be, they did have it on Crazy Clearance but they now only have a size 12 left.

P1014359

If this dress does come back into stock or you find it on eBay then don't hesitate to buy it, its amazing and it will make you feel fabulous from the minute you put it on.
Hope you are all having a great week :)

Simply Be Blogger Takeover

Last week i was lucky enough to be invited to the Simply Be blogger takeover day, i was really excited to go as i couldn't wait to see the bloggers dresses in real life!

When i arrived i spotted the ladies in their dresses and they all looked beautiful! You could tell that they were each wearing their own design and they looked perfect on them! They were all super friendly and it was lovely to meet them finally. Once everyone had arrived the ladies LaurenEm and Laura talked us through the design and ideas behind their dresses along with the process they went through from initial idea to the final piece.
It was great to hear that they were given a free reign to design something they would love and when i saw them in their dresses it was clear that they do love them!

I love all the dresses and i think there is something for everyone i cannot wait to get my hands on them! I really love the print of Lauren's dress, i mean who doesn't love ice cream?!

Throughout the day we got to look at some of the up coming collections and designs for Simply Be and we got a chance to hear about the whole process from the start of trends to the fit of garments and an insight into the production. It was really great to hear about it all and the Simply Be team were all very friendly and keen to get feedback.
I didn't take my camera but i had my phone so i did get a few snaps on my favourite up coming pieces,

I love this tapestry style dress its fab
and not as heavy as otters i have seen

Velvet shorts!

I love this leopard skater dress especially the
zip detail to the back

Super cute bird print!

The main item i fell in love with was a pair on denim shorts with a lace trim, as soon as i saw they had gone onto the website i added them to my basket and they are on the way to me now!

I now have so many things on my wish list! I can't wait till it all come out especially the bloggers dresses which i love so much!

I had a really great day and it was lovely to meet some ladies who i hadn't met before, everyone was really friendly so thank you to Simply be for the invite :)
If you haven't seen the youtube videos of the girls and their dresses then check them out below and if you want to get your hands on one they should be for sale on the 14th June.

FTF

A months gone by so it's time for another flash the flesh post. I'm not going to lie this was done very last minute. I've been really excited about getting my new tattoo which was done yesterday and the post slipped my mind!

I decided this time to flash some belly and a completely make up free face, so there is fat belly and stretchies below.

P1014349
This is actually the outfit I got tattooed in, the shorts I've worn several times and are from h&m + quite a while ago.
The top is from asda and I got it last week and I'm wearing the top backwards so I could make a faux crop top. I went for a 24 and the fit is good for me, it was £8 which was a good price but I want to say I was really disappointed with asda there was only a handful in items over a size 20.

P1014346

I don't think I've ever shown my stomach so it's about time I did with this post! Yes i have stretch marks but they don't bother me, i love my body and they are part of it and contrary to what adverts may tell you i don't spend all my time slapping on moisturiser to try to get rid of them.

P1014351

Love me love my stretchies :)

Check out everyone else below there is quite a lot of us now!

Curvissa

As you might know i have had a few pieces from Curvissa before and really loved them along with quite a few more bits that i have my eye on !
I was sent this ad and a behind the scenes clip from that ad to share with you. If you haven't had a look at Curvissa I'd recommend you do they have so much to choose from in lots of sizes and to suit every budget.

I love the retro feel to some of the outfits and as I've said before i really like that they offer up to a size 32 as you can find that after a 26 the selection of clothes you have to choose from is quite small. So after having a few days of lovely sunny weather its time to think about adding to your summer wardrobe so why not take a look at Curvissa.
If you haven't ordered before then you can also get 20% off your first order and free delivery which is great, you know i love a good discount!
I hope you all have a great day, I'm having my tattoo today so wish me luck. I'll be uploading pics once its finished.

More Shorts

It's time again for a OMCZ challenge an this fortnights was shorts, now they aren't out of my comfort zone as I'm sure many of you know i love them!

I have quite a number of shorts that i could show you but i decided to go with the pair i got with my ASOS order last week. I really love them and although part of me wanted to wait until they were in the sale i didn't want to mis out on then if they sold out.

P1014321

I got the shorts in a size 24 and they fit will a bit of room, there isn't any stretch to them so i did order a 24 and 26 and i didn't want to buy one and be disappointed i couldn't wear them if they were the wrong size.

P1014329

I love the two tone denim of the shorts its different to any of the others i have and they are really soft and comfortable. They are online here for £30, I'm loving all the shorts that ASOS have in stock at the minute, its really not helping my obsession!

P1014326

I wore the shorts with a Primark top which is a size 18-20 from the nightwear section, but I'm wearing it out as i love it and don't think it looks like a top you would sleep in. I added some Irregular Choice pumps which my mum got me a few christmas's ago and some nude tights so they didn't rub.

P1014330

I love the top so much and its so true of me, there are plenty of days i'd like to switch places with my cats!

Now go and check out the other ladies and see how they styled their shorts

Jump On The Spot

I have been stalking the ASOS website waiting for some short dungarees to come in stock and i spotted this beauty which i knew i had to have. So i added it to my basket along with a pair of shorts which you will be seeing very soon, and eagerly awaited delivery.

P1014336

I absolutely love jumpsuits but often find them difficult to find in my size and with the fit i want but when i saw this one i knew i had to give it a go. The jumpsuit is made from a thin-ish jersey material with stretch, i went for a size 24 but i could have happily gone for the 22.

P1014341

The jumpsuit is still online here if you fancy giving it a go yourself. Now the trousers are a little long for me but as they taper in at the bottom i won't have to take them up which is good. The top is elasticated to keep it in place, i don't own a strapless bra as i have never found one that works for me so i wore it with a black bra and with straps on show. The jumpsuit is also elasticated at the waist to give some definition but if you wanted a more defined shape you could add a belt.

P1014337

This cost £30 which i think is a decent price for this and i know i will get loads of wear out of it, with sandals in the summer and layered up in the winter. It even has pockets which i love so much.

P1014334

The only negative i would have with this is that if the material is too stretched it goes a bit white which you sometimes find with thin jersey. I think if i had sized down to a 20 in this it would have been too stretched and resulted in a lot of white but as i went with the 24 there is no sign of it with mine.
I'm so glad i didn't miss out on this it's perfect!
Have you bought anything from ASOS recently?

Three Times A Lady

On one of my recent shopping trips i wandered into New Look and spotted the most amazing dress, the print said it all i needed to have it so off to the changing room i went.
I bought the dress and the following week so did Lisa, the lovely Becky already had it so we decided to do a joint post to show you how we styled it.

P1014311

Please excuse my bitch face in these pictures it seems i wasn't as smiley as i thought i was being!
The dress is still online in a few sizes here but they had plenty in the store. I went for a size 24 as a 22 wasn't available but the material of the dress is quite thin so i think sizing up was the best idea so it didn't go see through.

P1014313

I really love this dress and everything about it, the 3/4 sleeves, the length and of course that amazing print!
The first time the dress was out i missed it online and was gutted so I'm glad they brought it out again and it was in stores this time not just online.
I wore mine with a Primark headscarf and flat black pumps as i wanted the dress to do all the talking and it really did!
Now go and check out the other ladies

Hope your having a lovely weekend :)
XOXO
