Spotty Dotty

I'm sharing another outfit that i wore to work with you all today. This is a jersey shirt dress that i bought from Evans some time ago. I decided i wanted to pop a nice dress on as i had been in trousers for most of the week.

This dress has buttons all the way down but the jersey material means that they never pull. Its a really easy dress to just pop on and dress up or down for a day at work or a meal out. I think a shirt dress is a nice staple to have in your wardrobe and they never seem to go out of style.

There is a material tie around the dress which I've tied in a bow under my bust to give the dress some shape. I added my hair bow and some red lips and i was good to go. As it was a little chilly out i wore my Simply Be leopard jacket i got in the summer although i haven't got any pictures of the jacket with the dress.

I think this dress is great and it really should get more wear than it does. As i bought it quite a while ago its no longer on the site but I've seen a few similar styles on eBay if you fancied adding it to your wardrobe.

Spot The Cover Up

This is a dress i wore a few weeks ago to work, well i say a dress it was in fact sold as a beach cover up dress but what the label says it's for will never stop me wearing it however i want!

Ive had this dress for over a year but i hadn't got round to wearing it until a few weeks ago, so sadly its no longer available on the Simply Be website. I did however have a nosey around and Simply Be have this cute little number  which looks similar but with a super cute boat print instead. 

It feel like ages since I've wore a polkadot dress, my shorts obsession has sort of taken over recently but wearing this reminded me of how simple but fabulous looking a polkadot dress is!

I'm wearing a 22 in this dress and the fit is great, at first i thought it was going to be too tight over my boobs but the back is shirred so it has a surprising amount of give in this dress. The straps are detachable too so you could wear in as a strapless dress if you wanted.

I feel bad that such a cute dress spent so long in my wardrobe before being worn, am i the only person who does this ?

Blazer Love

I have recently rekindled my love of blazers, when i was younger i wore a blazer with jeans every chance i got although if you asked me to wear my school one that was a big no no! So when Yours Clothing asked me to pick a few items and i spotted this blazer i fell in love.

This blazer is a lovely soft jersey material, which is my preferred material as it moves with you and doesn't feel as restrictive as others made from a more structured material. I was sent this in a size 22 and this fit is great.

The sleeves are 3/4 ones which i really like, as i do have a massive love for my forearms. And i love the polkadot cuff at the end of the sleeves, i think it makes a plain black blazer stand out. You can also get this blazer with an animal print cuff which i love too. At £35 it's around the price you would pay for a blazer from most shops but its worth the money as i think they go with everything especially shorts!

I wore this with my jeans and leopard print tee and i felt fabulous. Blazers always make me feel smartly dressed and this outfit was definitely a winner for me ! If you want to get your hands on this beauty then its available online here.

The 99p Dress

That's right this dress was a complete bargain at 99p! When i saw on twitter that Yours were offering the chance to bag one of their dresses for 99p i jumped at the chance. There was a choice of dresses but i went for the polka dot one as i had seen a similar one last year but never got round to buying it.

I ordered the dress in a size 22 and the fit is great for me. It also came with the red belt which fits, which isn't always the case with some plus size belts that come on dresses. This is a really easy dress to wear, add some tights and a faux fur for the winter or wear it on its own with bare legs for the summer.

The dress is made from a jersey material and has some stretch to it, the size 22 fits me great but if you are between sizes then i would say to get the smaller size. The dress has 3/4 sleeves and comes to just below my knees, so i think it will be a great dress for me to wear to work during the summer.

I also really love the neckline on this dress it allows my tattoos to peak out from under the dress. I am hoping to try to add different accessories to the dress including a leopard print belt which i think would look really cute. With it being a skater dress shape the skirt part of the dress is really full and is perfect for twirling.

Just Not Sure

I wore this outfit when i went out to the cinema with the Mr and Lisa to see the wolf of wall street. I have had this dress forever but its another one of those that i never got round to wearing. For some reason I'm not sure about this outfit I'm just not feeling it. The dress is cute and i love the cardigan but I'm just not sure the dress is very me.

The dress is about 18 months old and when i first bought it i got it in a 24 and now its quite oversized so i have had to add a belt to it. I wore the dress with my Primark cardigan and thick tights as its quite chilly out there.

The dress is made from a thin jersey material so there was no need for me to size up the first time. Although I'm not sure on this dress i think i might move it over to my workwear wardrobe so that i can get more wear out of it. I don't like to give up on dresses so when i fall a little out of love with something i tend to move it over to my work wardrobe, it means that then if i don't wear it to work them it goes onto the sale or swap pile.

Looking at the pictures i think that maybe its just the colour that makes me love the dress a little less.
