Daisy Duke

I had this post scheduled then i remembered that it was the OMCZ challenge day so i have blagged it a bit!

This fortnights theme was an outfit inspired by a movie/tv character, I've decided with this post to go with daisy duke as she wears shorts shorts too. I'm annoyed with myself for forgetting as this theme was really fun and i can't wait to see the others inspirations.I've also just realised I'm wearing the same shorts from the last OMCZ post, but at least they are getting some good wear!
I recently went into Matalan  for a look at the Rogers and Rogers section and came out with a few bits. I got this dress which is great for work and I've already worn quite a few times and this shirt.
I decided to wear the shirt with my Asos curve shorts and my new converse pumps, i think this is the first time I've worn anything resembling a trainer on the blog!

I got the shirt in a size 24 and it's a good fit a little lose with no gaping over the bust when fastened. It comes with a cami but you can take that out and wear it sheer if you wanted to. For £16 i thought this was a really cute shirt, it comes just past your waist at the front but down to mid bum on the back.

The Rogers and Rogers range at Matalan goes from a 18 to a 30 and i found the size range in store to be good with quite a lot of different sizes available. The range has definitely improved from how it used to be and is one of the places i now look at rather than just walking past.

Summer swallows

I wore this to visit family on Sunday, its quite a summery outfit but it was nice and sunny out although a little chilly.

I decided to go with this dress it's very summery in fact its from the holiday section at Tesco but i loved the print so although i wasn't going on holiday at the time i still bought it.

The dress is an extra large and fits me fine it was a little low cut at the front but i put my primark cami underneath and that solved the problem of potential flashing! The dress was £8 full price which is a great bargain! I wore if with my asda cardigan and primark pumps. Its always really warm in my nan's so this was great to keep me cool at her house.

This dress will be great in the summer maybe with some little shorts underneath just so i don't flash my bum at anyone, i can't believe I've waited till now to wear it!

I also wore this cute cat ring which is made from fuzzy felt it feels so nice, the ring was made by me.

Day 28 - Something that everyone has now

Well not everyone will have this but i know a lot of plus size ladies that do, its the swallow print dress from new look inspire. I bought it quite a number of months ago from the new look in meadowhall shopping mall. The new look there has a really good inspire section upstairs, unlike the new looks in the towns closest to me. As soon as i saw the dress i knew i had to have it and it took all my power not to but it in green too. I bought it in a size 20, i think the dress is on the larger size which is why i was able to size down. The dress is made from a nice jersey material,one of my favourites as you don't need to iron it! I'm not sure if it will loose shape over time as honestly this is the first time I've ever worn this dress. I think its long enough to wear without tights or leggings so today i got my milk bottle white legs out for the world to see. My shoes are from primark £5.
As its been so nice i took some more pictures outside, sorry about the slightly wild grass and the building material behind me.
