Birthday Love

It was my birthday a few weeks ago and i had the best few days! The Mr took me for burgers, shopping and treated me to my favourite fragrance then we relaxed at home which was lovely. A few days after my birthday me and Lisa went to Leeds for some drinks and lots of dancing.

Yes we take all the false lashes!

I wore a Simply Be swing dress I've had for a year or so with some black tights as it was super cold that night, it kept me warm walking to the bars but was a little warm for all the dancing that i did.
As always i had a wonderful night out with Lisa she is a wonderful dance partner and she always has emergency eyelash glue which came in super handy that night trust me!
I also wanted to show you the amazing gifts she gave me for my birthday i was truly spoilt. My birthday card had instructions and a little explanation for each gift it was such a thoughtful touch.

How amazing are the phone cases cats, pizza and burgers the best combos ever. There was other snacks too but i ate them before i even got chance to take these pictures.

Lisa knows how much i love nail polish and these colours are great, the Barry M is a fab two tone purple and bronze.

Lisa made me the glitter photo frame and put a picture of us on a recent night out in there too. The glitter bow is perfection and everyone needs a unicorn clutch right?!

The brooch is so me and the collar clips are amazing i think i might have done a rather large squee when i saw this.
So a big thank you to Lisa for a fabulous day and for being the best dance partner ever.

XOXO

Cocktails, Catch ups and shopping

Today I met up with Lisa for our monthly shop/catch up/gossip over cocktails. I didn't get a full outfit picture but i remembered to take a car selfie on the way.

We met up at meadowhall and started off in Primark, I had a few bits to take back and ended up buying more! I got all the items below, shoes £5, mini hair doughnuts £1, polka rollerball perfume £2 (these are perfect for your bag and I really like the smell too), candies vanilla bon bon perfume £8. The vanilla perfume is super sweet I love it, I smell like a human sized sweet! My favourite perfume is Vera Wang Princess but its a little too expensive to wear everyday so i like to have a selection of cheaper perfumes for work.

I also picked up this Loreal 24h infallible lipstick, I got a pink in my beauty box and I'm now a massive fan. It hasn't dried my lips out and it lasts for ages even after eating and drinking. The Eyeko eye liner was free with a magazine (that's now in the bin!)

I also had a voucher for the body shop, when you spent £30 you got £15 off so I treated myself to a few bits. I got a coconut lip roll on, coconut hand sanitiser, cocoa butter moisturising stick, chocomania perfume, shea body whip and almond hand and nail cream. All that came to £30 so I only paid £15 a total bargain!

We tried on lots of clothes but forgot pictures (we were far too busy catching up) I didn't buy any but I have my eye on a playsuit from yours clothing that I will be buying on payday. It will be perfect for Lisa's birthday weekend in Blackpool. As always we finished off with a few drinks in TGI's.

What have you been up to this weekend?

Fun With Friends

I hope your all having a great weekend, I'm having a lazy one as last weekend was busy with lots of fun and friends.
I thought I'd share my weekend with you, it started on Friday when i met up with the lovely Lisa my favourite dancing partner and we went out to paint the town red. There was lots of drinking and even more dancing. Here are a few pictures from the night.

I didn't get chance to get a picture of my outfit but i wore this Project D dress which i modelled for Simply Be last year. It was perfect for a night out dancing and was really comfy to wear too.
On Saturday me and Lisa went to Doncaster to meet with lots of lovely ladies for a spot of shopping. To say i was a little delicate might be an understatement ! I had a great day with the ladies and it was great to see them all again. Here is a picture of what i wore on the day, the shorts are from New Look and the sweater is from Asda.

As always our first stop was Simply Be where i think between us we tried on all of the shop, the staff were lovely as always and i came away with a few bits myself.
Me and Lisa shared a changing room so she kindly took these pictures of what i tried on so i thought i'd share them. Sorry for the odd faces in some remember i was a delicate flower that day :)

I love this denim jacket as i was wearing a jumper on
the day and wanted a tight fit i tried it on
without a top so excuse all the boobs!

I tried this skirt in a 20, i would have loved the pu
to go all the way around.

OMG i fell hard for this dress! There was only a 20
in store so it couldn't be mine on the day.

This dress was a 22 and i do like it but i thought it
was just a little too cutsey for me.

I loved this sheer shirt but i wasn't sure i wouldn't end
up tripping over the back!

I thought this jumper looked fab with shorts so it had
to be mine.

I didn't take this home with me as it was a 20 and
maybe a little small but i wish i had done!
After Simply Be the other girls went into a few more shops then we headed to New Look before going for dinner. The New Look inspire in Doncaster used to be really great but this time i was a little disappointed. There space was the same size but there was only about 1/3 full with stock. I did however  come home with a jumper from New Look with the cutest pug on.

So that is my little haul from last weekend. The denim jacket i got in a size 20 and was £35, the spot jumper was a 20/22 and a bargain at £15. The pug jumper is a size 24 as i wanted an oversized look and it was £24.99.
I have searched high and low for the perfect denim jacket for the last couple of years and i finally found it I'm so happy!!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend whatever your doing :)

Dancing Queen

Last weekend me and Lisa decided to go to BGP in Manchester for those of you who haven't heard of it check out the website here. Now I'm sure that those of you who have might have some options on the night, before going I'd heard everything from it being great fun to it being like a fetish night. I went with an open mind, for me you can't really judge it till you try it, and I really loved it! I had a great night, I met some amazing ladies there and the guys that were there were friendly but never in a pervy way.
Me and Lisa got to the hotel early to relax ,get ready and have a few drinks. This turned into a bottle of wine and a bottle of vodka but we do like to start the party early!

I even managed to put fake lashes on myself and Lisa without either of us looking like an extra from a clockwork orange.

Here's what I wore for the night, this picture was taken by Lisa in the hotel but I have recreated it at home where the light is better.

I wanted something comfortable that I could dance the night away in and this was perfect. The top is a bodysuit I got ages ago from asos curve, I adore it and you don't have to keep tucking it in like you sometimes end up doing with tshirts.

The shorts are from Simply Be and I only have good things to say about them! They are a size 24 and fit perfectly they have some stretch and are lovely and short with the cute lace detail around the bottom. Unfortunately they don't have them in stock anymore if they did i would be buying a second pair they are that amazing!

We got to BGP around 9 and chatted to a few people then after an hour or so I decided it was time to dance and barely sat down for the rest of the night. I had a fab time and met lots of lovely people although maybe I danced too hard as my legs felt like they might fall off the next day

Fatty At A Festival

I'm sure you have all read in my previous posts that i recently went to Leeds Festival. Now this was my first festival and i couldn't wait to go and experience it much to others peoples apprehension when i told them. After all I'm quite the pop princess and I've never even been camping never mind to a festival!
Well i survived and i had the most amazing time, there was lots of dancing and laughter and catching up with old friends, oh a little drinking too ;)
So i thought I'd show you what i wore, i couldn't show you my wellies though as i left those muddy little things there!

The shorts were in the sale at New Look for £9 and the t-shirt is from Betty Bee Vintage.

P1014764

I got this sweat top just before i went from Asda for £12 i really loved the print it reminds me of an old sofa!

P1014759

This t-shirt was from Primark and it was nay a few pounds but i love it its so soft and comfy and as you can see the 20 had plenty of room.
If you didn't see my tweets from the festival you might not know that my tent flooded after the first day and never dried out as it rained for pretty much the whole festival! My lovely friend Megan was kind enough to let me sleep in her tent though so big thanks to her :)
Here are a few snaps from the festival

One of my oldest friends Lisa

I really had a such great time so thank you to my lovely friend Lauren for inviting me !

Snap Shots Of Fun

Life has been a little hectic recently so this post is just a collection of snaps and things i have done over the last week or so.
First up is my trip around the dam with the hubby feeding the ducks and having a nice walk in the sun. As you can see I'm wearing trainers! and the denim tunic i got at the recent fat swap.

Then i had lots of fun and giggles with the girls for Beckys birthday it was really great to see her again and have a few drinks and yummy chinese. I don't have any pictures of us all together as we were having so much fun but here is me and Lisa being silly once everyone else was in bed.

Then we all went shopping and had a ball, i love a fat girl shopping trip ! There nothing better than taking over the changing rooms and having a mini fashion show. I did get a few bits and here they are,

After all that shopping we went for dinner which was lovely and had a great chat, i feel very lucky to have such lovely people in my life :)
