Pop In Pink

Today's post is an outfit i wore out with the Mr last week when we went to do a bit of shopping, i had bought this Simply Be jacket after seeing it on Lisa and i new i had to have it. I hadn't had chance to wear it and i really wanted to so it was the start of my outfit.

This jacket is a size 22 and fits perfectly there is room if you want to layer it but its doesn't look baggy without. On the website the jacket looks a more dusty pink but in real life is bright and vibrant and in your face! It has amazing 3/4 sleeves that are slightly gathered, and its made from a really soft jersey so it doesn't restrict you at all.

I decided to wear my bargain New Look denim skirt which i got in the sale for £7. The skirt was really comfy and easy to wear as i walked around the shops. I thought the pink really popped against the black skirt as you can see from the picture below i really love this outfit.

I really wasn't sure what top to wear with this outfit then i spotted this peplum flamingo print top that Lisa had given me. She had got it for herself but wasn't wearing it so very kindly gave it to me, we often swap clothes and accessories its great to have friends you can swap things with when you no longer wear them. I decided to tuck the peplum in as i thought it looked better with the outfit.

I couldn't mention the Mr and not include him in my post so here he is looking super handsome.

And as its been a while i thought I'd include some outtakes. Here i am grabbing my boobs although I'm not sure why! and the Mr doing his hand on hip looking away blogger pose.

Working it

Ive seen a few other bloggers in this dress including Becky from does my blog make me look phat

They all looked amazing in the dress and the print was so cute, i thought id go and get one myself. Now this wasn't easy every time i went into primark the dress was there but never in the size i wanted. Id pretty much given up but i went in the other week and saw it there in a 20 so i snapped it up! Now i know this meant i broke my shopping ban but i really couldn't pass it up not for £10.
I wore this to work it was really comfy and kept me cool in the office all day, i paired it with my lifes big canvas necklace which i got at plus north and I'm so in love with.

This is one of the only times I've been able to fit into the 20's at primark they are usually too small but thanks to Becky for showing me that i should try and sometimes you end up with  gem like this.
My Evans dresses came this week too here's a sneak peek of what i got. I panning on wearing one of them tonight so there will be a blog post soon.

Hope your all having a great week. Do you manage to find great things in primark?

Flamingos and kitty ears

Here's my outfit from Sunday me and the hubby went for some breakfast then into town before going to see my family. I decided to wear this dress i got from dorothy perkins a month or so ago. I was priced at £42 but i had a few discount codes so got it for £29 including p&p the dress is now in the sale for £25 but they only have the navy one its here if anyone is wanting to buy it. Now as I'm sure I've said before i do have a habit of buying something, trying it on for a milli second then hanging it up in the wardrobe and thats what i did with this dress. I got it in a size 22 but it is too small for me around the bust, its ok when i have a cardigan on but without one you can see the side of my bra, as i'd only tried it on for such a short time i'd not noticed. Although yes it it too small i still like how it looks and the print is so cute so i will keep it and continue to wear it.
This was the only picture i got without my
cardigan on

I wore my h&m cardigan that i got for £3 in the sale it was the first time id worn it and it was super comfy. I got it in an xl i wasn't sure it was going to fit but for £3 if was worth the risk.
Not sure why i look so scowly here i do try
to smile honestly!

Here is a close up of the material
I also wore my cats ears headband for the first time it was from asos i love the pearls on the ears. A few people did a double take i guess you don't see many people with cat ears sprouting from their head!

A completely silly picture just to make you smile
Do you keep certain outfits even though they are a little small if your in love with the print?
XOXO
