Leather Look

A month or so ago i was in the Simply Be store in Doncaster when i spotted a dress so unlike anything i would usually wear i wanted to try it on to see how it looked. I would never before have thought i would own a leather look dress! As soon as i tried it on however i fell in love with everything about it.

The pictures don't do the dress justice its so much more beautiful in real life. I got this dress is a size 22 and as usual with Simply Be the fit is great. The dress itself is made from a  leather look material and is quite thin with some stretch so you can order your usual size and not worry.

The dress also has a mesh panel down the front which shows off some serious cleavage without being too much in your face.

The whole dress is embossed with this gorgeous flower pattern which hasn't picked up in the pictures but you can see it when your wearing it and it looks so pretty.

I'm totally in love with this dress the shape is great and i really love the cute cap sleeves. It comes in blue as well as the black online here for £50. I think you could easily dress this down with some ankle boots and a jacket or dress it up with heels, a faux fur stole and killer lipstick.

I really love this dress and I'm glad i gave it a go and tried it on. It just goes to show always try something on even if you don't think in a million years it would be your thing, you could be surprised like me and find a piece you fall in love with.

Cut Out Leopard

I first spotted this dress back at Plus North when the lovely Betty had it on and i fell in love, especially with the cut out at the front. I loved the bright pink leopard print and the cut of the dress, i know some people are getting a bit bored of skater style dresses but i quite like them especially when they have a bit of a cheeky side like this one.

This dress is quite short which i like and is made from a pretty thick stretch material. Its so comfy to wear and the thick material is fantastic for this colder weather we are having, although as the temperature drops i think i might need to add some thick tights and my faux fur or biker jacket as i did in my previous post.

This dress has a really full skirt which is perfect for twirling in! The cut out adds a really cute detail to the dress and gives a cheeky glimpse of cleavage which is always good with me. I ordered the size 22 and the fit is perfect for me, enough room for my boobs to fit without them trying to make a bid for freedom.

This dress is still available online here for £50, i think this dress is well worth the money its pretty thick so great for winter and its really well made. The only thing you may have issues with is the length if you are taller than me as its quite a short dress.

A New Spin On A Classic

A few moths ago i went to the Simply Be blogger take over day and got the chance to see some of the pieces that would be coming soon. I'm not going to lie i fell in love with most of it! One of the dresses i saw and loved was this leopard print dress, i loved the fact it was a red/burgundy colour and not the usual colours you see associated with leopard print.

I was sent this dress by Simply Be along with the Project D dress you saw here and i really love it. Its actually quite a thick jersey so it will be great for the cooler weather and layering up in the winter. I was sent the dress in a 22 but i could easily have fit in a 20 its really roomy.

The dress came to my knees so it would still be a good length for you taller ladies too. I wore this to go shopping and to for a few afternoon drinks which actually turned out to be a fun filled night of dancing. those unplanned nights are always the best!

The dress has a low cut back which i really love and it has a exposed zip to the back which i don't usually like to be honest but this one is pretty cute although i think the dress wold look just as nice without it. This dress is really comfy and i love the print and colour too. Its online here if you want to let out for wild side!

I've also re dyed my hair so its a little darker now and i love it sooo much !!

Leopard and Disney

This dress is one that i bought from eBay just after Christmas i won the bid at £6.99 which made it much cheaper than the buy it now options of this dress that were also being sold.

The dress was brand new and original from New Look i had bought i burguandy one from them a few months earlier and found it very easy to wear so though it was a good time to pick up another colour at less that half the price.

I got this in a size 22 and it fit well but its very short on my 5 4' frame, this is definitely not a dress i can bend over in! Its made of a thick jersey so its perfect for the colder weather and it came with the cute leopard print belt too. I paired it with my thick black tights and handmade Little Mermaid brooch.

I also love how the dress has half sleeves so you don't need to wear a cardigan or coat, so many plus size dresses seem to be sleeveless which is great in the summer but often means lots of layering in the winter time.
