BooHoo plus size collection

I was invited to the launch of the BooHoo plus size collection recently, sadly i wasn't able to go but the lovelies at BooHoo sent me a piece to share with you. They let me choose something to review and i decided on this dress although there are lots of pieces that i could have chosen!

P3225579

I chose this dress because i loved the colours and the print, they are so vibrant. I got the dress in a size 22 which i would say is true to size fit wise. The dress is a body con style so it's fitted but made from jersey material so has lots of stretch to it.

P3225581

The dress has full length sleeves but i decided i preferred them pushed up slightly so it gave the effect of 3/4 sleeves. It wasn't noticeable that i had done this so i think you could easily wear it either way.

P3225584

I really like this dress, the fit is great and the price point with this collection is really affordable. This dress is only £18 and that's full price, so its not going to break the bank if you feel like treating yourself to something new.

P3225589

The only issue i have with this dress is the length, its pretty short on me and I'm only 5 4''. The dress covers my bum but i don't think i could wear it out dancing without flashing a cheek, however i love this dress so much i think I'm going to give it a go with leggings. I'm also planning on wearing this as a top tucked into skirts which i think will look fabulous.
Here are a few of the other pieces i have my eye on from BooHoo's plus size collection,
I lived in skorts when i was young so i have to add one to my wardrobe now they have come back around again!
Woven Skort £15
These bodysuits are only £10 and a great basic to have in your wardrobe.

Finally i love the colour of this jumper is perfect!

I really impressed with the collection the prices are great and the quality of the dress i received was great too. I can't wait to try out more pieces from BooHoo!
Have you tried anything from the collection yet?

Office To Bar

I don't usually go straight from work onto a night out but last week i had to as i didn't have time to go home and get changed. This meant i spent ages trying to decide what to wear, i didn't want to turn up to work looking ready to accept an Oscar but i still wanted some glam for my night out. After trying on half my wardrobe i settled for this dress and jacket. To be honest I'm not sure that i got the work to bar outfit right but i loved it.

This dress is an old asos curve one that they no longer sell. its a size 24 which is a great fit for me and it has plenty of stretch so perfect for dancing the night away! I added my Tesco jacket as it was a little chilly during the day. I love this jacket i had it for ages without wearing it and now i can't seem to get enough of it.

P1255297

You can't quite see it in these pictures but the sheer mesh has got tiny little polka dots all over it which are really cute. This dress is about knee length on me which is longer than i usually wear on a night out but i couldn't really turn up for work in a tiny dress. I felt great in this outfit and although it might have still been a little fancy for work it worked for me.
I hope your all having a great week!

Three Times A Lady

On one of my recent shopping trips i wandered into New Look and spotted the most amazing dress, the print said it all i needed to have it so off to the changing room i went.
I bought the dress and the following week so did Lisa, the lovely Becky already had it so we decided to do a joint post to show you how we styled it.

P1014311

Please excuse my bitch face in these pictures it seems i wasn't as smiley as i thought i was being!
The dress is still online in a few sizes here but they had plenty in the store. I went for a size 24 as a 22 wasn't available but the material of the dress is quite thin so i think sizing up was the best idea so it didn't go see through.

P1014313

I really love this dress and everything about it, the 3/4 sleeves, the length and of course that amazing print!
The first time the dress was out i missed it online and was gutted so I'm glad they brought it out again and it was in stores this time not just online.
I wore mine with a Primark headscarf and flat black pumps as i wanted the dress to do all the talking and it really did!
Now go and check out the other ladies

Hope your having a lovely weekend :)

Comic Body Con

Last Saturday i met Lolly and Lisa for our monthly shopping trip and didn't need much other than a few  camis but i do enjoy shopping and trying things on even if i don't need them!
What i bought wasn't very exciting but i decided to wear my comic print body con dress that i bought from Primark last week. I'd seen a pic of it tweeted by the lovely Sian and knew i needed to have this dress.

P1014294

I got the dress is a size 20 but it has plenty of stretch so i found it really comfortable to wear and as you now i love body cons so for £10 this was the perfect dress for me.
I wore the dress with my Torrid cardigan that i got from Florida a few years ago and some Primark pumps.

P1014300

The dress is a body con style so it doesn't hide anything and shows off the vbo, this doesn't bother me i actually think it looks really cute but maybe if your not at the stage you want to be showing it, it might not be then dress for you.

P1014301

I'm not sure how well this dress will last and keep its shape for but for £10 it wasn't breaking the bank. How could i say no to such a fab print?!
Now onto what i bought as i said its not the most amazing haul but i got a black and light purple cami, a navy and a dark purple vest from Primark along with some super cute mouse face shoes and a spot print peplum top from the New Look sale.

I hope you have a great weekend I'm at work tomorrow but hope to make the most of Sunday.

Leopard body con

I have developed a serious thing for body con dresses recently, they are like wearing a giant hug. I love the way they hug your body and your shape and i think they look great on.

While i was browsing asos late night i came across this leopard print body con dress it was only available in a size 20 and i wasn't sure that it would fit but i added it to my basket then consulted twitter to see if i could get away with a size smaller than my usual. After some positive feedback on the fit and the dress i decided to go ahead and buy it.

P1014016

It was £22 in the sale, it came a few days later and i fell in love. The size 20 fit although i guess my usual size would have been perfect this was a nice fit so i decided to keep it.
The leopard print fades down to black at the bottom of the sleeves and the dress which makes it a bit different to my usual all leopard print dresses.

P1014015

Some people may not be confident with body con as it does cling to your body so it shows off my vbo(visible belly outline) but i have a belly which i happen to think is pretty cute so why hide it ?
So how do you feel about body con love or hate them?
