Birthdays in Blackpool

Last weekend me and Lisa went to Blackpool to celebrate her birthday which was lots of fun. I didn't take any proper pictures as i was far too busy dancing most of the time ! but i did take a few photos on my phone that i thought i would share with you.

On Friday morning i decided i wanted something comfy to travel in so i chose my Ax Paris maxi dress and Simply Be denim jacket. I wanted something i could layer up if it was chilly by the sea but that would keep me cool in the car journey.

Brett kindly drove up to Blackpool and we went for fish and chips and a walk by the sea but it was so windy we didn't last long but of course we managed a picture!

We checked into the hotel and started to celebrate with a bottle of wine my mum had given me. I didn't get any pictures of my full outfit but i wore some black New Look shorts and a black and white shirt i got from Evans bout 2 years ago. The shirt is perfect as its a swing style and pretty long so i just wear it like a dress.

Kerry and her bestie came down for the evening so we all went out together and had a great time. We danced for hours and there was lots of laughter!

At the end of the night i decided Lisa needed to open her birthday presents while i took a selfie with my date for the evening Pizza! 

Saturday day when Lisa had started to feel more alive after her hangover we went for a walk around the shops and we found Iron Man and a princess castle to pose in so we were happy!

Saturday night i wore my BooHoo bodysuit and Forever21+ velvet skater skirt, it was a little chilly that night so i was glad for the extra warmth on my arms but a few hours later i was boiling after dancing my bum off on the dance floor!

 And here is me and the birthday girl getting old now just like me!

Birthday Love

It was my birthday a few weeks ago and i had the best few days! The Mr took me for burgers, shopping and treated me to my favourite fragrance then we relaxed at home which was lovely. A few days after my birthday me and Lisa went to Leeds for some drinks and lots of dancing.

Yes we take all the false lashes!

I wore a Simply Be swing dress I've had for a year or so with some black tights as it was super cold that night, it kept me warm walking to the bars but was a little warm for all the dancing that i did.

As always i had a wonderful night out with Lisa she is a wonderful dance partner and she always has emergency eyelash glue which came in super handy that night trust me!

I also wanted to show you the amazing gifts she gave me for my birthday i was truly spoilt. My birthday card had instructions and a little explanation for each gift it was such a thoughtful touch.

How amazing are the phone cases cats, pizza and burgers the best combos ever. There was other snacks too but i ate them before i even got chance to take these pictures.

Lisa knows how much i love nail polish and these colours are great, the Barry M is a fab two tone purple and bronze.

Lisa made me the glitter photo frame and put a picture of us on a recent night out in there too. The glitter bow is perfection and everyone needs a unicorn clutch right?!

The brooch is so me and the collar clips are amazing i think i might have done a rather large squee when i saw this. 

So a big thank you to Lisa for a fabulous day and for being the best dance partner ever.

Birthday Girl

I thought today I would share with you my birthday outfit. I wore this on Tuesday to go for food and a spot of shopping with the hubby.

The dress is one I got from the Evans sale a few seasons ago and was from the Clements Ribeiro swan range. I decided as it was my birthday I was going to wear something a little fancier and even put my false lashes on for the occasion. I wore my hair in a bow and it went really well it must have been birthday luck !

I really like this dress and for £20 in the sale it was a real bargain, I would love it even more if it had just a bit more room in the bust section. The waist on the dress is just under the bust section and was riding up a little I think if there was more room up top this wouldn't happen. This dress is a size 22 but the 24 was way too big, id advise to get your usual size in this dress if you spot one on ebay.

I was very spoilt by the Mr who bought me little mermaid, as it's my all time favourite Disney film and the cutest case ever!

We went to do a little shopping before food and as it was my birthday I treated myself to a few bits, including a tongue in cheek tshirt from next.

Birthday fun

I had a lovely day on Monday with my hubby celebrating my birthday and we celebrated as any other shopaholic would by going shopping and then to dinner, all that shopping works up an appetite!
I was treated to breakfast in bed by the hubby while i opened up my gifts. I was really surprised by my lovely friends who sent me gifts that i never expected so a big thank you to Lolly,Rebecca,Beth and Becky.
